She leads them to the living room.
"May 24, the day after she had hidden the key," Diana showed her family. "But the key isn't actually what it seemed to be."
She explains about the piece of paper she found in the library.
"The key is the clue all along! The living room has four posts or four corners and the spark is meant for the chandelier above as mentioned in her diary: With a chandelier that inherits a spark because of the crystals."
"That's brilliant," Cooper commented. "Now if there's only some way we can open the gateway or something."
"How about we light those torches at the corners? With all the secret passageways in this house I'm sure it'll work." Alvin suggested.
With that, Cooper got some matches and he climbed at the posts one by one and....
CREEK!!
The sound of rusty metal opening the ceiling was heard. It revealed the beautiful moonlight from above.
The cherubs from above... a heavenly celestial body... she was admiring the moon.
"Oh my!" Mrs. Harper was shocked.
The floor cracked open revealing the blinding light of gold, jewelries and CASH!
Diana's POV:
"I zuppoze what she zaid waz true," Mrs. Vochichwa smiled, which I kind of cringe since she was all gothically serious everytime. "It iz nice knowing all of you and now that you found ze treasure, you will zell thiz house and I can go back home."
Well I can't let that happen! For the times that my family stayed here, I kind of enjoyed all the screaming and frighting. Cooper and Madame Vochichwa, they have been like a family to me and I can't just go back to the city lights without them.
"No," I said in a serious tone. "I want to stay mom."
"Are you serious? What about your friends in Summershore?" mom asked.
"I have better plans in here."
Who knows? This place might be fun.
New friends, Lots of fun and more mysteries to unravel.
