"Your majesty, is Alice alright?" Zanik approached the queen, taking off his hat in respect when he found her while wandering through the halls, memorizing which way lead where.
"Oh, hello Mr. Hightopp," Mirana curtsied, hiding her happiness so everyone else would find out in their own time, "Yes she's fine, just some complications."
"Alright, thank you. If she or my son need anything then we're here to help." Zanik bowed then continued on his way. Ever since they were saved from the red queen during the battle of Liberta Day, he has been working on being a better father for his family, trying to cope with what happened to Tyva.
**Scene Change**
"Y-you are..?" Hatter stuttered, staring at Alice in awe.
She stood there nervously, wondering if this was a good or bad reaction, would he still love her, or the baby?
Suddenly she felt his arms wrap around her hips and lift her up into the air, spinning around. She looked down at him and saw his eyes a light glowing green full of excitement and joy, his famous gap-toothed smile wider than ever.
"My dear Alice this is the best news ever! Is it a girl, boy!?" Hatter exploded with questions, putting her back down then gently placed both hands on her shoulders.
"Tarrant, calm down," Alice giggled with a smile, holding his face in her hands, "I don't know yet but we soon will. A-Are you alright with this?"
"Alright? Dearest, cricket, love of my life, I'm better than that! I'm ecstatic, better than ever!" Hatter exclaimed then blushed when Alice leaned in and gently rubbed his nose with hers.
"I am too, I can't believe we're going to be parents but.." Alice paused, biting her lip which signified she was thinking, "I don't know if I'll be a good mother.."
"My Alice, don't ever say that again, you are beautiful, strong, an amazing friend, wife and soon to be mother. Like I said I'll be here with you and trying to support both of you." Hatter pressed his lips to her forehead.
"The only thing we need is you." She whispered, smiling and tilted head up, kissing him softly.
He kissed her back, arms around her waist while her arms were around his neck. The only thing heard between them were their breathing and heart beats.
**a while later**
Hatter and Alice strolled hand in hand in the garden, Alice was telling the story of when she went through the looking glass and how she become royalty so he would have more insight and not be clueless like she was before hearing it. Everything was new to both of them but they were figuring it out together.
"So the red and white queen said I would be queen if I won the game and I did." Alice explained, swinging their arms back and forth together.
"Surprised the bloody big head would let you." Hatter shrugged then gazed down at her.
"Yea I know." Alice giggled, their arms bumping/brushing against each other, it felt like they were silly kids with a crush, "But.. this is too much to handle, I'm supposed to be a queen people can count on and a mother.. how am I going to do this?"
"You'll find a way, you always do." Hatter chuckled, kissing her cheek which he saw made her face go red.
"Thank you.. for everything." She whispered, glancing up while he was still close and stole a kiss from his lips.
'How did we get so lucky?' They thought, continuing on their walk.
**Scene Change**
A woman sat on her throne made of pure crystal, everything was in different colors. She had a long blue and silver dress that shined, her hair shimmered a light silver color but not because of her oldness.
She didn't age. Ever.
"Miss are you alright?" A man that looked about in his mid 20's with short white hair, wearing armor approached her, bowing and awaited for her to respond.
"Yes of course, why shouldn't I be?" The woman smiled warmly, standing up then gliding over to large doors, opening up the balcony where she gazed at the sight.
Her home was up in the sky, all bright light and such where she watched over the land before her, making new life and what she created.
"Actually, Sir Thailos, tell me.. I feel something, like I'm not complete. Do you know why?" She asked softly, turning to face the guard, her silver eyes glistening.
"I do not know miss, maybe it has something to do with-" He started speaking but stopped when she held up her hand.
"Please.. do not say her name.. I know it's been years but I am not ready to talk about it." A tear slid down her cheek then disappeared along with a soft sigh, "You are excused."
Sir Thailos nodded and was about to go when he was once again stopped, this time by a question, "What have you come to say?"
Taking a deep breath, he responded, "She's back, escaped from the looking glass.."
"What..?" Frozen in place, the hopeful yet frightened gaze was clear in her eyes then faded, containing her regal composure then nodded, "Thank you for telling me"
When she was alone, more tears flowed down, she bit her lip, trying not to let a sob come out.
"Luscinia.. what have I done..?"
**Scene Change**
"Looks like the future royals are going to have a little princess." The enchantress calmly smiled, her tone too sweet while spying with the crystal.
She went over and grabbed a book from the table, opening it up then slammed her hand on the page, "I knew it.. not just the champion but the queen from that legend of the crowned child."
"So many surprises, well nothing can prepare you for what's to come." The enchantress talked to herself, her voice smooth.
Tightening her grip on the book, it crumbled to mere ashes, falling to the floor like sand in an hourglass, stomping on the pile, click of the heels she wore echoed in the cave.
"Enjoy your time while you can.." She whispered, shifting her eyes to the looking glass. In the middle of it was her reflection staring back but it had what she didn't. A crown on her head. And the sword of Underland, dark crimson stains on her hands, red liquid dripping from the tip of the precious metal.
"There is no such thing as happy endings..."
