Running away from him was harder than I thought. I was heading for Glasgow City Centre, trying to pick up speed. I looked behind for a fleeting second and saw one of the Bandits in their tight skinny black gear and he was getting faster. I passed Apollo theatre and headed down into the alleyway. Damn it, dead end. You'd think I would've learnt by now. He found me and he was slowly walking towards me. His face was intimidating, rough. I knew this wouldn't be an easy escape.

"A-ha! Nowhere to run now, little girl." He was right, he knew it. My heart raced as he smirked at me with his yellow rotten teeth. Suddenly I felt a swipe across my face and found myself on the ground.

"Oy! Leave her alone!" That was the last thing I heard, and then everything went black.

As my vision slowly blurred back, the pain pounded in my head. I was in a room that was surrounded with speakers and sound equipment. It was dark, but there was just enough light to see the drums standing on the left corner of the room. A tall man was sitting next to me, looking worried. He was young, with long brownish black curls that just brushed off his shoulders. His eyes were a beautiful hazel colour that just shone in the dim light. He was holding an wet cloth and a first aid kit sat on the arm of the chair.

"Hey. Are you ok? You got into some big trouble there."

It was his voice I heard in the alleyway. Wow, it sounded so familiar, I just couldn't tell where else I heard it from. He handed me the cloth, his hands even looked beautiful.  I pressed it against my forehead, big mistake. It was so painful, I nearly burst into tears. I bit my tongue and tried to hold back the tears, I mustn't look like a wimp to this man, after all he did save me.

"Yeah, I'm fine. Thank you...." I took a long pause, swallowed and then said, "for saving my life."

The man smiled and chuckled as he looked straight at me.

"Please. I did what anyone else would do. If you don't mind me asking, who was that guy?"

I wanted to tell him everything, about the work I do, about them but if I did, I would only put him in danger. I didn't want to lie to him either, but it was for his own good.

"Just some random weirdo. He was following me, was pretty scary to be honest with you."

Once again he smiled.

"As long as you're ok now, that's the main thing." He held out his hand for me to shake. "I'm Brian."

Then it suddenly hit me. I looked over to the cases and I saw one word on them.  Just one. Queen.

"Woah.... wait, wait a second." I suddenly stood up and he was taken aback. He seemed puzzled at my amazement. "Brian....... THE Brian??"

He suddenly stood up beside me and chuckled.

"Are you telling me, that the man who saved me from getting killed, was THE Brian May, THE guitarist of Queen, THE band?? This is insane!"

Brian suddenly took my hand, tightly for one moment before going into a formal handshake.

"Come on. I'm not that exciting." He said trying not to laugh.

"Are you kidding me?! You're one of the best guitarists ever in history! I mean that Bohemian Rhapsody solo was pure class!" I was now jumping up and down with excitement which was also a big mistake. I suddenly felt faint and was about to collapse on the floor, when Brian ran over and caught me in his arms. I looked into his eyes for a brief second and my heart started to flutter.

"Woah, take it easy. Are you sure you're ok?" He pulled me up and I slowly got up to my feet.

"I'm fine. Sorry, I got a little over excited there."

Brian laughed. "Just a little." He said with a sarcastic tone to his voice. I laughed along as I sat back on my seat. He sat next to me and gave me his glass of water.

"Now, I've told you my name. Why don't you tell me yours?"

I smiled. "Do you say this to every girl?"

Brian smiled back. "Just the pretty ones." He winked at me and once again my heart fluttered.

"That was a joke, wasn't it?"

"I was being serious!" He suddenly looked a bit hurt. I took a deep breath and dragged the hairs away from my face.

"I'm Jennifer. Well, people call me Jenny or Jen because I hate my name."

"Why? I think it's a beautiful name."

"Thanks. But I'm not so keen on it." I stared into his deep hazel eyes. God, pull yourself together. You know there is no chance in hell.

"Well, thank you so much, Brian... for everything. I'll have to go now."

"Wait, wait!" Brian stood in front of me, looking concerned.  "It's not safe out there. Why don't you stay here? We could find you a place to stay."

"I really appreciate it, but I really have to go." I shook hands nervously. "Thank you, once again."

"Hang on!" He grabbed my hand as I was just about to leave. "Why don't I get you tickets for our concert tomorrow night here? I can introduce you to the guys afterwards."

"No, no, I couldn't!" But deep inside I hoping that he would talk me out of it. Going backstage at a concert would be amazing!

"I insist. It's the least I could do." Brian smiled at me, and he just realised he was still holding my hand. "Sorry, I don't mean to pry."

I blushed and he noticed, chuckling at my bright red cheeks. "Well, I would love to."

"Great. I'll see you tomorrow night then." I nodded back at him and headed out the door. I realised that the boss is going to kill me, but I didn't care. I was going to see Queen tomorrow night and meet them afterwards.
