I walked out to Nigel's car with Freddie, Roger and John as they helped me to take my bags outside.

"Well, this is it." I closed the boot of the car and turned round and looked at the three men.

Freddie came over first for a hug. "Well, goodbye my dear! Thank you for everything you've done for us. Make sure you'll come and see us once again." He then kissed my cheek.

"I'll try. It's been a pleasure getting to know you. All of you." I added as John came over and hugged me again.

"Best of luck with the tour!" I said, whilst still hugging John.

"I'm sure we'll be ok." John said sighing.

Roger stood there looking upset. I came over to him and handed him Roxy's photo from my purse.

"Roxy had a baby boy six months ago. He could be in care, looking for a home. I know it would probably be too much but here's the photo anyway, just something else to remember her by." Roger sighed and stared at the photo. He placed his finger right where the baby's hand was. He then turned around to me.

"Thank you." We then had a long hug. "Take care of yourself, you hear?"

"You too." I winked at him and he smiled. "Where's Brian?"

There was silence in the group for a moment.

"He didn't want to come out. I'm sorry." Freddie said eventually.

"Oh, ok." I said trying not to cry. "Well, tell him I said goodbye." I was just about to open the car door when I heard a voice.

"Jennifer, wait!" Brian came running down the pathway to join the group. I stood there in awe, as he slowed down just as he reached the pavement.

"Well, we'll leave you two for a moment. One final goodbye?" Roger asked.

"Of course!" I held out my arms as all three men came in for a group hug. Brian stood there, smiling as we started jumping together thanks to Freddie. Eventually they went back inside and left me and Brian alone.

Brian held my hand and placed a flower in my hair. "Look, Jennifer. I'm so sorry about the way I reacted. I was really immature about it. I should've been happy for you that you have this amazing job opportunity and not have got caught up in myself. I've just loved these past few days with you and I don't want our love to end."

"It's ok. You had every right to be upset." I grabbed his other hand and held it. "If there was any other way we could be together, I would be with you in a second. But I know you will never leave Queen and I know I've got to go."

Brian nodded, looking upset. His sad face brought a tear to my eye. He then reached into his pocket and gave me a box.

"It was all I could find. It's not the real thing, but it will do for now."

I opened it to find a saxophone pendant inside. It looked just like the saxophone I saw in room the other day. It shone in the sunlight as I held it in my hands.

"Oh, Brian." I could hardly speak, I was so speechless. "It's just beautiful. Absolutely stunning."

"Here, let me put it on." I turned around as Brian put the necklace on. After it was on, he kissed my neck and wrapped his arms around my waist.

"It's wonderful." I said as I kept glancing at it. "I can't thank you enough." I turned around and Brian held the necklace in his hand.

"Wear this everyday so that you could think of me. And everything you've done for Nigel and Roxy. Please don't forget me."

"Of course I won't." I then placed my hand in my pocket and held out a old looking coin. "This was my dad's. He used to collect coins in the old days. He gave me this one when I was two. I now want you to have it." Brian suddenly stood back.

"No, I can't do that, not if your dad gave it to you." I walked over to him, placed it in his hand and closed it.

"He said to me all those years ago, "There will come a time when you find someone who will love you for the beautiful woman you will become. When that time comes, and I'm not there, give him this coin. Then he will know that he has my blessing." So, this is now yours."

Brian looked at me, and smiled from ear to ear. "Thank you."

We stared at each other for a while before I added, "You could also use it for your next gig."

He laughed. "I better not put in the pocket with the rest of coins as I'll lose it."

We both laughed at each other as I moved a black curl from his face. I couldn't hold it in any longer. I started bursting into tears as I grabbed Brian into our final embrace and held him tight. I closed my eyes shut, trying to stop the tears from falling. I felt Brian squeezing my waist as I sobbed in his arms.

"I love you..." Brian whispered as we separated and he held my pendant that was still round my neck. "Jennifer Markers."

I sighed, still weeping as I leant my forehead on his, like we did at the hospital. I grabbed a few more of his long curls and let them slip away from my fingers.

"And I love you...." I looked up and smiled at him, with my face covered in tearstains. "Brian May."

Brian gave me his signature smile and my heart began to melt inside. He then placed his hands on my face and we shared our final kiss. My foot raised off the ground as my arms were wrapped around his neck. As we pulled away, I could see Brian's hazel eyes were filled with tears. I rested my head where his heart was beating fast for a few seconds and I could feel his chin resting on top of it. Eventually I let go, kissed his forehead once again and went to the car door.

I stepped inside the car and started the ignition. I sat for a moment, taking out the photo of my parents as a tear fell where my baby face smiled from ear to ear. I then stared down at the pendant and kissed it. I then stared through the window to see Brian still standing on the pathway, crying his eyes out. He blew me a kiss and then waved back at me.

I then took a deep breath and pushed down on the pedal, as the car headed down the road away from the hotel. As I left Glasgow, I turned on the radio to hear Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody playing through the speakers. I laughed as I head banged along with the rock riff and drove down the long road to London, in Nigel's old Volvo.
