Alisha's POV
The annoying alarm on my phone woke me up on Monday morning. I hate alarms so much but as a student, you just have to deal with it's buzzing noise. I stopped the alarm and without saying my morning prayers, I started scrolling through the pictures from the freshers party. Mum always complains about my habit of greeting my phone good morning first instead of Jesus. In her words "umu ogbo à! Adaobi, can't you greet Jesus Christ good morning first before that your phone eh nwa?" I don't get why my phone always comes first. I really do need deliverance.

I sprawled on my bed and decided to post the best pictures from the party on my Facebook page. I posted it with the caption 'about last Saturday '. It didn't take up to fifteen minutes when I began to receive likes and comments. It was so funny how I was popular on social media but not in reality. Anyways, amongst all the comments 'you look so beautiful ', "African beauty ", "Hidden beauty" and so on, I was patiently waiting for just one comment. If he did so, maybe my smiles would be brighter and my day would be great.

My patience wasn't in vain as he commented but I wasn't satisfied. He just typed "Al!". What was that supposed to mean. It got me pissed but I didn't know exactly why. I rolled my eyes and got off from the bed to go prepare for my first lecture as a university student.

I wore the outfit Buma chose for me for my first day. It was a simple top and a denim jean skirt which was the best she could find in my wardrobe.

"Baby girl, we have to go shopping because all your clothes suck" Buma said irritated when she went through hell rummaging through my clothes.

I spent my 'whole' night dressing myself in my head and I couldn't come out with anything fantastic and so Buma's efforts was really appreciated.

"Murder them boys", Buma shouted as I opened the door to go.

"Buma, you eh", I laughed as I left.

I had become so free and not weird around Buma. She brought me out of my shell in just few weeks. Her charms are really powerful and I was changing gradually.

I walked down to my department but I didn't know exactly where LR125 was. The building had so many lecture rooms.

"Gosh! If I don't find this lecture room, I would be late...it is already 9:00am and I am still looking for it".

While I was still panicking and running down the hall of the second floor of the building, I crashed unto a hard rock which was unfortunately human and Dave. I wondered where he was made to have such a hard body. I almost stumbled to the floor when I was grabbed by the waist.

"Baby girl, why are you clumsy this morning " He spoke with amusement in his voice even though we crashed.

I wriggled out from him.

"Can't you watch where you are going?"

"Common, you were the one who bumped into me and not the other way round"

"Well, mr man, I have lectures and I am already late for it" I rolled my eyes and turned to go.

"Wow, you really have a sharp mouth. Aren't u hiding again?" He said smirking

"I don't have your time Dave, I really have to go"

"Baby girl, you just missed your way, the lecture room is that way" he pointed to the opposite direction, exactly where I was coming from.
