Nine years have passed.

After Ethan spent the summer with Leon and Elsa in Greece, Leon dropped him off at the airport to fly back to Los Angeles.
Leon is a successful novelist, while Elsa is at a career crossroads, considering work with the central government.

"I'm worried about Ethan. I've been trying to keep my relationship with Ethan because I'm afraid that my ex-wife is influencing Ethan's thoughts to hate me"

"I have not decided yet because until now I still consider it"
At dinner they talked more about love and life. They were on vacation with friends of Elsa.
The friends who live with them and pay the hotel room so they can spend the night alone.
While walking to the hotel, They are nostalgic to come along. Upon reaching the hotel, they argued fiercely, expressing fears about their present and future together.
"I'm scared thinking about our future"
" So do I"
"I want us to consider moving to Los Angeles so I can get closer to Ethan"
"Do not you think if it will spend your time just to take care of it and you have no chance to take care of me and our children! You no longer love me!"
Elsa left their room and sat alone in the hotel's outdoor restaurant. Leon joins her and jokes with her.
"Elsa, I am a time traveler carrying a letter from myself that is now 83 years old and tonight is one of the best nights of our lives"
"Our fantasies will never match the imperfect reality!"
"I love you! I do not know what else you want now. I do not want to upset you"
After a while, Elsa joins Leon's joke and the two seem to be at peace.
