River hung there alone as she breathed in and out trying to ignore the immense amount of pain she felt
She hang there like a peace of meat left to dry before her favourite part of the day rolled around

River moved her head ever so slightly as if only to acknowledge his presence, not like there was much else she could do
The mutant fish and giant boned wolf entered the room chuckling
"To think to once proud young lizard that raided are mutation lab is now hanging from a rope possibly days away from death after all" river could feel the wolfs cold muzzle near her cheek "tiger claw struck you awful close to the heart"
River glares at the ground "should have pierced it then would have saved me the suffering" she growls at the dog
"But what fun would that be shreder wanted to cause you so much more than just fiscal pain he wanted emotional mental anything that would break you" the wolf snarls
River smirks to herself as she tilts her eyes to look up at him "you can't break the river"
The dog growls lowly "your lucky lizard lucky that we need you here until your dying breath"
River sucks in a deep breath as she feels the wound on her chest that she's been trying to let heal re open as razar runs his long sharp claws down it
"And what is that" she growls lowly
"The pain of knowing you've been forgotten" he whispers to her
Rivers pale eyes widen
How long exactly had she been here
She had been focusing so hard on toning everything out on blocking everything that she hasn't even noticed
"How long" she whispered
"A few months now" the fish spoke his accent thick "but then again tiger claw put on a great show everyone thinks your dead" he laughs
River growls "there not that dumb they wouldn't"
"I but they did and they have we haven't heard from them in weeks" razar laughs " they don't need you" he whispers as rivers pail eyes dull more
"No" she whispers
Razar laughs as he and disgrace leave leaving river to hang
