Epilogue part 1

May 2nd, 1999

"Professor Stephens! Professor Stephens!"

Helena turned and found one of her students running to catch up with her.

"Good afternoon Mr. Peters, what can I help you with?" She asked him as she readjusted the stack of papers in her arms.

Dylan Peters was one a Hufflepuff first years in her potions class, he was scrawny with blonde hair.

"Headmaster Snape sent me to fetch you for him. He said he would like to see you in his office," Dylan said out of breath.

"Thank you Mr. Peters, I shall go immediately. Enjoy the rest of your day and I will see you later," Helena responded before heading towards the staircase.

As Helena walked through the corridors students would smile at her, she was after all very popular among the students at Hogwarts.

It had been nine months since Helena had healed Severus. She was now the Potions professor and after a lot of reasoning Severus had changed his mind and accepted the position of Headmaster.

Minerva had been more than happy to step down and resume her positions of Deputy Headmistress, Head of Gryffindor and Transfiguration professor.

Binns remained as the History of Magic professor much to the older students horror. Filch and his blasted cat could still be found roaming the halls and chasing off pesky students. Flitwick was still the best Charms professor, and when he was not busy conducting the choir he could also be found sharing his stories of his dueling competitions with students.

Hagrid also remained as the Care of Magical Creatures professor and Grounds Keeper, and he was still adored by many students. Madam Hooch, Madam Pince and Madam Pomfrey all remained in their roles.

Professor Sinistra was still teaching Astronomy and Professor Sprout was still the proudest Herbology professor.

Severus had hired four new professors this year: Luna Lovegood who taught Divination, Harry Potter who taught Defence Against the Dark Arts, Thea Connors who taught Muggle Studies and Helena who obviously taught Potions.

Helena had quickly become friends with Thea who was three years older than her. Thea was a muggle born witch from London and had attended Hogwarts several years prior to Harry Potter.

Helena's thoughts were broken when the gargoyle guarding Severus' asked her for the password.

"Lucia."

The gargoyle moved aside to reveal the staircase that led up to the Headmaster's office.

Helena ascended the staircase and smiled when she entered the Headmaster's office to find Severus bent over paperwork with his hair tied back.

"You wished to see me Headmaster?" Helena said as she approached Severus at his desk.

He immediately looked up and smiled at her before standing and coming to embrace her. He planted a soft kiss on her lips and she breathed in his scent.

"How are my two loves today?" Severus asked Helena as he stepped back and held her at arms length.

She placed a hand on her slightly swollen stomach and smiled happily, "We're doing wonderful."

The couple had recently found out that Helena was pregnant and they were both immensely pleased.

Severus pulled Helena into his chest and held her there protectively.
