The Secret of the Missing Sky

Chapter 2

Jordan wake up at 8:30 the next morning he went down stairs to his kitchen. He made seven egg whites with turkey sausage and orange juice. As he was walking out to the back porch to have a peaceful breakfast. He saw a brunette, with black leggings and a purple sport bra on, running on the beach. He realized that it was Natalie. He watched her as she went by. He sat down and started to think while he ate his breakfast. Jordan:" Wow she looks really good." He took a bit of his breakfast. Jordan:" Wow I am a great chef." After he was done with his breakfast, he took his plate and cup and put it in the sink. Then he went up stairs to his room to get dress for his football camp to teach kids. After he brushed his teeth he looked at the time it was 9:15 am. Then his phone rang it was a text from Brad :" You better be ready, on my way over." Jordan grabbed his keys and wallet. Then there was a knock at the door. Jordan ran down stairs and opened the door. Brad:" You ready" Jordan's mom appeared behind Jordan. Jordan's mom name was Jillian Miller, she is a fashion designer. Jillian: "Hi Brad how's your parents?" Brad:" Hi Mrs. Miller, my parents are doing well how are you and Mr. Miller ?" Jillian: " Were doing well, so where are you boys going?" Jordan:" We are going to a football camp to help out little kids." Jillian:" That good, it will look good when you guys go to college." Jordan:" Yes mom , ok we have to go now." Jillian: " Ok you boys have fun." (Jordan and Brad hopped into Jordan's 2013 Ford  pickup truck.) Jordan backed out of his driveway. Brad:" So, how is Vanessa?" Jordan:" She is fine, I'm guessing you spoken to Gabby." Brad:" Yea she is not mad at me, I told her that she was the only girl in my life beside my mom."( Then Jordan thought about Natalie and stops listening to Brad) (20 minuets later) Brad: " Jordan, Jordan, Jordan..( Every time Brad said Jordan he got loader to get Jordan to listen to him) Are you ok?" Jordan:" Yea I am good just thinking about this camp." Brad:" I know your not nervous, you Jordan the next Brett Favre." Jordan:" Yea your right." ( They made it to the camp) Jordan:" Let's go and have a good time." (They both got out of the car, got there stuff from the back and walked to the field .) About 2 hour later the camp was over and the boys are going home. Brad:" That was a good time and good experience for the kids." Jordan:"Yea and good practice for us." Jordan:" So when does the practice start for the team?" ( Brad looks at his phone to see when practice starts.) Brad:" It starts August 25th and school starts September 6th." Jordan:" Thanks I was just wondering." Brad:" What  are you doing later around 7:30?" Jordan:" I don't know probably nothing, why?" Brad:" Maybe we can get some guys together and go to the carnival letter." (As Brad said that they passed the carnival) Jordan: " Yea that sounds like fun." (They arrived at Brads house) Brad:" I will text you later." Jordan:" Ok talk to you later" ( Brad gets out of car.) (Jordan goes home. Jordan walks into the house and sees his mom on the phone.)( As he try's to walk passed her she hung up the phone.) Jillian Miller:" Jordan where are you going?" Jordan: " I am going up stairs to take a shower ." Jillian:" Ok, Well tomorrow don't make any plans you father is having the Wilson family over to go on the boat." Jordan:" Ok mom. (He yells while going up stairs) Later that day around 4:00pm Jordan got a text from Brad. Brad:" Yo, You good for 7:30 to go to the carnival?" Jordan:" Yea, you want to walk or drive there?" Brad: " We can drive there." Jordan: "Ok see you around 7:00." At 7:00 o'clock Brad was at the door. Brad:" You ready to go?" Jordan: "Yea."  (Before Jordan could step out the door Jillian stepped in) Jillian:" Where are you going?" Jordan:" We are going to the carnival." Jillian:"Ok, Be back at 10:00." Jordan:" Ok, Bye mom." ( Jordan ran out the door.) Jordan and Brad snuck in to the carnival though the back so they didn't pay for tickets. They have been doing it since they were in middle school. They met up with their friends Victor Campbell, Ian Kelly and Sean McDonough. Victor, Ian and Sean are on the football team. They have been friends with them since elementary school. They decided to go on line for a ride called Dragon Run. As Jordan was in line he saw Natalie in line with Austin. Jordan tried not to look at Natalie but he couldn't believe haw gorgeous she looked. About an hour want by and Jordan and his friend went on the ride.  Then about 3  hours later Jordan and Brad went home.
