Chapter 17

Jordan:" Hey look we lost the guards." Natalie looked back:" Oh shit, We did." They kept driving straight just incase they were still following them. Natalie realized that they were not in the Jordan's pickup truck. Natalie:" What a minute? This is not your car? Jordan:" It is my mom's mustang. My mom wanted to barrow my car so I took hers today." Natalie:" Oh ok." They drove 10 more miles. Then they pulled into an abandon building parking lot. Jordan pulled in behind some trees. Jordan:" We should be good here." Natalie:" You're sure." Jordan:" Yea." Jordan got out of the car to check around the area for anything and to check to see if anyone was or could follow them. Natalie watched Jordan for 2 minutes walking around the car. Then she got out. Natalie:" What are you doing?" Jordan:" Making sure there is no glass by the car." Natalie grabbed Jordan hand. He stoped walking and looked at her. She kissed him. Natalie:" Thank you for running away from the guards when they were chasing us. You didn't have to do that." Jordan:" You're welcome. I had to do, what I had to do. To try and not get you in trouble." Jordan pushed Natalie up against the hood of the car. Jordan:" God, You're so beautiful." Then Natalie's phone buzzes in her pocket. (She grabbed it and looked at it. It was from Long Wood Academy app.) Long Wood Academy app:" Two kids escaped today. Their names are Natalie Wilson and Jordan Miller, If anyone finds them please report to the school." Natalie:" Shit." Jordan:" What? What's wrong?" Natalie:" They are looking for us. Which means our parents knows. They posted our names." Jordan:" What? Our names?" Natalie:" Oh no, this can't be happening. I thought that they were going to just post about me. Not you?" Jordan:" Natalie its fine." (He kissed her.) Natalie's phone buzzed again. (She looked down at it. It was a message from Alyssa.) Alyssa:" I fucking told you to leave those boys alone." (Natalie typed back.) Natalie:" We have a project." Alyssa:" No you didn't, you wouldn't have ran away." Before Natalie could type back she got a message from Austin. Austin:" Really Natalie. Why are you running away with this guy? I thought you had a project to do with him and your getting in his car?" Natalie looked up at Jordan who was looking at his phone. Natalie:" I am not going back to school." (Natalie put her head in her hands.) Jordans phone buzzes it was from Brad. Brad:" Nice man, Yea I don't believe that you too are just friends now." Before he could write back he saw Natalie. Jordan:" Hey Natalie. It's going to be ok." (He hugged her.) Then his phone buzzed again. It was a message from Vanessa. Vanessa:" Really thanks for lying to me." Jordan took his phone and turned it off. Then he did the same things to Natalie's phone. Jordan:" Listen to me Natalie. We are going to change this stupid school." Natalie:" How? If I go back there everyone is going to call me a whore." Jordan:" I have a plan." Natalie: " So your planning to go back to school?" Jordan:" Yes." Natalie:" You know that the school probably called your parents." Jordan:" Shit. Ok, Maybe I won't go home. Unless I sneak in late in the night and wake up early to leave." Natalie:" You think that is going to work?" Jordan:" No, not really. Wait what if we sneak in to our houses get some clothes then sneak out and sleep in the boat?" Natalie:" And you think that is going to work." Jordan:" Yea." Natalie:" Ok." Jordan kissed Natalie. Natalie pulled back. Natalie:" What about Vanessa?" Jordan:" What about her?" Natalie:" Aren't you supposed to meet her tonight?" Jordan:" No she is pissed at me." Jordan pulled Natalie in for a kiss. The sun was going down, so they sat on the hood of the car and watched it. In that moment all Jordan wanted was to be right there with Natalie. (Jordan took his phone out, turned it on and message Vanessa.) Jordan:" I am sorry for lying to you but if you want I can tell you the truth about everything." Vanessa:" What is the truth Jordan?" Jordan wrote back:" Don't get upset." Vanessa:" I won't. What is the truth?😡" Jordan:" I love you, You know that but when you were gone I kissed Natalie." Vanessa:" Ok, I am made that you kissed her but we are still together." Jordan thought about this last part of the text "But we are still together."
