" Hi... Ilike your shoes."A voice said behind me. I turned to see a brown haired boy with piercing eyes boring through mine. He had a sheepish grin on his face.
" Ilike your lunch box." I said looking a his power ranger slunch box. I looked a tmy sparkly shoes. They were pink with butterflies. The boy sat next tome. Dark blue eyes wandering over the play ground and then his eyes fell on me.
" I'm Jacob Brown." He smiles.
"Hi Jacob." I smiled. I took out a apple from my Brown paper bag. Crossing my legs I bit into it.
" What's your name?" he asked. My face went pale. I hated my name. It was boring.
" I Don't like my name.... Can you call me Gumdrop?" I asked.
" Well, why Gumdrop?" he asked crossing his legs and taking out his sandwich.
"Because my name is stupid and I like gum and it sounds funny when it drop so gumdrop is my name and my name shall it be.... Don't you like gumdrops?" I asked. Jacob laughed.
" Gumdrops don't drop. Unless you drop them. But it still doesn't make since because you eat them not drop them. And I don't think its a good name for a girl." he said.
" What's that's supposed to mean?" I asked my feelings a little hurt that he didn't like my suggestion of changing my name to gumdrop.
" Nothing..But what's your real name?" he asked. I looked down at my half eaten apple and sighed.
