One year ago, I decided to finally get out of my brother — Cain's restaurant and set up my own company, W Event Management also known as WEM. After my graduation trip, I was heartbroken and I locked myself up away from the world.

Then, Cain's restaurant was burned down. I took the time away to reset my mind, reset my soul and basically try to get myself together. During that time, I started traveling again. Until En Blue reopened and Cain proposed to Kendall, then I came back to my family.

One year later, I am driving in my Audi to a meeting with our new client — M-Land. I am five minutes away from M-Land and if I speed up a little, I might still be able to reach on time.

My phone is ringing when I'm about three minutes away, "Lyla. I'm just a few minutes away. Let them know I'll be slightly late."

"Abel Wilder," Lyla — my business partner whom I met when I was traveling, whispering fiercely in the phone, "If you're not here when I blink my eyes, you are going to get it from me. Because, I don't think I can look at M-Land's coordinator without trying to tear his clothes away."

Few days ago, we got a proposal from M-Land to coordinate an event for them. M-Land is a well-known social networking company. Pretty sure, this meeting is arranged by my brother Aden Wilder. Most of the events I have planned, they all came from Aden, who is helping me to build my event planner reputation.

"Who is the coordinator?" I asked.

"Keaton Haynes," Lyla said his name in a dreamy tone.

"Who the hell-" Before I can finish my sentence, my phone was knocked out of my hand due to the impact. My head bumped into my steering wheels and the airbag burst out right in my face. My head is buzzing as I undo my seatbelt, stumbled out of my car to survey the scene.

I got into an accident because I was on the phone. Dammit. I rubbed my temples, trying to remember how to handle an accident scene. I was trying to look around to see if anyone got injured.

Then, I saw him. He is wearing a dark blue flannel with white t-shirt and khaki jeans. His hair looks disheveled. Those deep blue eyes staring right at me as if someone hit the paused button.

We broke off the eye contact when a passerby stood in the middle of the two of us and asked, "I've called the ambulance. Any one of you hurt?"

The guy cleared his throat and shook his head, still stealing glances at me. I let out a sharp breath, "No, just a bump on my head."

I finally turned and took in the scene. My Audi crashed head to head with his Prius. Both cars are definitely fried. I was going to call one of my brothers to come and help me to settle this when I felt his arms went under my legs.

He carried me up and placed me on a bench nearby. He lowered down to my eye level, worried filled in his eyes. "You are swaying while standing there. Might be a concussion. Do you feel pain anywhere else?"

"N-No," I stuttered. What the hell did he just do? He literally just carried me up in a bridal position and sat me down on a bench, got onto a knee and asked if I'm okay.

He cursed under his breath, "I'm sorry I was on the phone and..."

"I was on the phone too," I answered sheepishly and heard the siren. "I think we need to exchange our number so that we can handle the insurance."

"Don't worry about that. I will get it sorted out while you get your head check," He flinched when he looked at my head. "Once your adrenaline wears off, I think you will feel the pain."

I groaned and remembered I was on the phone with Lyla. I was going to get phone and my bag when he grabbed my hand, "What are you doing?"

When he put his hands on mine, my mind immediately went into an overdrive. My heart was pounding so hard and I could almost hear it beating in my ears. Oh shit, I seriously need a checkup, definitely a concussion.
