I kept myself busy for the next few days. Lyla popped her head into my office, "You need a ride home?"
My phone started ringing, I lifted up one finger at Lyla to ask her to hold on and without checking the caller ID, I picked up the call, "Hello?"
"Hi, I'm calling from Sexware to inform you about the sex toys you ordered," The voice sound familiar and I know it is a prank.
I checked the caller ID and smiled, "Sexware? I bought my sex toys in Erotic Land though. Are you sure you got the right person?"
Keaton laughed and said, "Damn, you got me. Look, don't be a bad boss; let Lyla go home to her fiancé."
I raised my eyebrow, looking at Lyla who is giving me a curious look, "Whoever talking about sex toys with you, I'm interested,"
Keaton laughed at the other end of the phone. I rolled my eyes at her, "It's Keaton. He's asking me to let you go back to Cyrus,"
Lyla raised her eyebrow, "Then how are you going to get home?"
"I will make sure she get home safe." Keaton finished the sentence and the door chimed. Lyla and I looked out and there is he, the Keaton Haynes, standing there with a white button down and a short khaki pants. He waved his phone at us, "Howdy, ladies,"
"Haynes," Lyla called out, "You are damn lucky to have those curly hair and dimples or else I will call the cops for intruding private property."
Keaton barked out a laugh, heading to my office, "Good to see you too, Lyla. I'm bringing Abel to some party."
"Hey!" Lyla folded her arms, "I met you first, and shouldn't you be bringing me to the party?"
I rolled my eyes at them. Keaton clicked his tongue, "I don't think the host will be happy about you going to his party. But when it comes to Abel, the host will be ecstatic. Anyway, you got a fiancé to get home to."
"Oh snap," Lyla grabbed her bag after checking the time, "I got a movie date with Cyrus. Get out and have fun, Abel!" She mouthed at me before closing the door, 'Details'
I looked at Keaton who is touring around my office, "Who says I'm going to the party with you?"
Keaton glanced at me and raised his brows, "Well, I said so."
He scanned from my head to toe and asked, "Unbutton the two top buttons and do you have flats in your office?"
I frowned at Keaton as he opened every cabinet in it and finally found a pair of flats I kept in my bottom drawer, "Bingo!" He changed into a nasal voice, "Well done, Keaton, you know women so well."
I chuckled, smacking his head, "I'm exhausted, Keaton. I'm not going to party with you,"
"Keaton's party rule number one," He lifted one finger at me, his playful face changed into a serious one which doesn't suit him at all. "The more exhausted you are, the more you should get out and have fun. Trust me, you will love this party."
Keaton should probably quit his soccer career and be a negotiator. He pretty much persuaded me to go to the party with him. He parked his jeep by the curb which filled with a lot of different cars.
I spotted a Black Ferrari Monza and I gasped, holding Keaton's arm, "That is Monza!"
Keaton chuckled, "That is just a Ferrari. I got a Bugatti Divo at home,"
I dropped my jaw and smacked his arm playfully, "You are fucking kidding,"
Keaton rolled his eyes, taking out his phone as we climbed out of his jeep. He closed the door and gave me a mischievous smile, putting his phone up for me to see, "Not to brag but this is my baby,"
