Fax machines, phones ringing, talking, coffee machines, everything from a regular office could be heard while I sat in a chair waiting for the coordinator.
Mr. Blanc had my phone, so I was bored out of my mind while I sat.
Ages later, Mrs. Garcia came out, with some papers and put them in a side.
"Sadira Keller, to the front desk please."
I stood up and walked to the front desk, where Mrs. Garcia, the coordinator, waited for me.
"Please, follow me to my office."
I followed Mrs. Garcia through a long hallway, offices filled by staff, and fax machines were in the way.
We arrived at a small office in the very end of the hallway. The office was covered with obnoxious "Stop bullying!" and "You can do it!" posters in the beige walls.
"Miss Sadie, Im very upset at your recent behaviour." She said, putting her notes and pens aside.
"Using your devices while a teacher is teaching is unacceptable, and disrespectful."
"Im sorry Ma'am, but..."
"But what?" She asked, curiously.
"Yesterday, I met this girl Tessa, Tessa Franklins. I met her online, she said shes in Valleycoast Middle School, the school across ours. She says shes been there since 4th grade."
"Strange. I was a coordinator in Elementary and I dont recall any Tessa Franklin names." She said, scratching her neck.
"Huh, well, maybe you forgot."
"Maybe. Well, Miss. My point is, I will have to take your phone and keep it in my office until your mom comes to pick it up and we can talk about your unacceptable behavior. If you want your phone back, please give this paper to your mother."
She shaked her head in dissapointment as she wrote in a light yellow paper.
She handed the paper to me, and read it as I left the room.
"Ugh. I cant let my mom know that Ive been talking to people I dont know, shes always bugging me with Internet Safety talks. If she knows, she'll KILL me."
I stuck the yellow note in my heavy backpack, walked down the filled offices and fax machines, and made my way to French class.
okay yall i know this is hella boring but trust me, it gets hot up here~
