Sadie's POV

We arrived home; the silence bothered me. Dad was at work, and mom was tired, so she decided to go to sleep.

I headed to my room, and walked slowly so the wooden floor wouldnt creak and wake up my tired mother.

I closed my door and flopped to my bed.

"Feels good to be home."

I turned on my phone.

6% battery.

"Sh*t."

I got my charger and texted Tessa while it charged.

Tessalovescheer10: hey! so how was your mission impossible?
xSaddiee: sucky . it took forever for my stupid coordinator to go to break.
Tessalovescheer10: hope cameras didnt catch you.

I am so dead.

My heart started pounding, I felt like it was gonna break out of my chest.

My stomach was rumbling as I slapped myself.

xSaddiee: oh my god, thats perf! but idk if my mum will let me, she'll probs rant about her online safery lecture for hours
Tessalovescheer10: lmao just give her the tutoring excuse again and we can meet up

Tessalovescheer: well im really antisocial and hate crowded places, so we should meet at oak park, its empty there and we can have the whole place to ourselves, i can take my volleyball and we could play.

Oh my gosh, I was so excited! My best friend and I would meet tomorrow, and  it will be amazing! I cant wait to see her, too meet her!
