Chapter 6: Hard, but earned it.

I sure was wrong about the plan being hard.

But all that matters is I have it back.

Heres what happened...

After school, I asked Karen, the girl who sits next to me in health, to lend me her phone to call my mom. I told my mom I was staying for tutoring, and to pick me up at 5.

I thanked Karen and strutted to the bathrooms, locked myself in the stall, and waited.

While I was at it, I did some homework. I checked my watch and soon, it was 4:45.

I decided to open the small, tight stall door and come out. It felt like a bat out of its cave.

The coordinator was out, and the office assistants were at break, meaning the office was free.

I sneaked in, and walked to Mrs. Garcia's office. There was no fax machines, and the rooms were empty.

"It feels weird to be alone."

I got to Mrs Garcia's office and opened the door. The lights were off and there was just a lamp on. Spooky.

I opened her cabinet, and there it was. My phone was on top of 8 other phones, all from sad students who used them during class.

I took my phone and turned off the lights, closed the door slightly and walked slowly to the bathroom.

I now had my phone, therefore I decided to call my mom and tell her tutoring was over, and that she could pick me up.

I went to the parking lot and waited a couple minutes. Soon, she was there to pick me up.

I got in the car and greeted mom, then turned on my phone.
