The special day came, and I woke up 20 minutes earlier to get myself to look pretty for Tessa.

I grabbed a protein bar for my way, kissed my mom goodbye and headed for the bus stop.

The bus took me to the nearby shop, and from there I usually walk home.

Everyday, an elderly lady named Titi rides the bus. I usually sit next to her, and tell her how my day was going. We talk about everything, and she gives the best advice about anything.

"You look like you want to impress someone. Have you caught your eye on a boy, apple pie?" She asked, with a big grin as she adjusted her glasses.

"No, Titi." I blushed. " Im actually meeting up with a girl I met online, we've been talking for some days now and we decided to meet up at Oak Park."

"Oh sweetheart, I know Im just an elder but I dont think its too safe for you to meet up with people you dont know in real life, it could be dangerous. Plus, Oak Park is a very, very empty place. I dont have a good feeling." Said Titi, worried.

"Dont worry Titi. Youll see tomorrow Ill be back, safe and sound."

I got down from the bus and waved Titi goodbye. I walked to school.

The whole day I couldnt stop thinking about my big meetup with Tessa. I couldnt stop thinking of all the fun we would have.

The day was passing by like a snail, and finally, the dissmissal bell rang.

I called my mom to let her know about the "tutoring", and to pick me up at 5:00.

Tessa and I would have 2 hours to hang out.

The excitement was filling me like a pool.
