Part 8

I was in class looking through the window as I watched the basketball team playing outside.
And yes, Taehyung was part of it.
Apparently there was this big game coming up, so i guess practicing is more important than actually studying

I was looking around when i saw a familiar face.. Taehyung
He walked by.. wearing a sleeveless white shirt and a bandana. He held the ball with his other hand and ran his fingers through his gray-ish hair

I was unable to stop looking at him as he smiled at the other guys on the team.
I could swear those seconds were like an eternal slow motion sequence.. and I was completely mesmerized

*A/N: okay so I can actually see it happening in slow motion and trust me.. it's breathtaking

He slowly turned his head to the window, as if he knew i was watching him.. locked his eyes with mine and gave me the most beautiful smile i've ever seen.

I rapidly turned my head as I felt my heart pound
Wow, how lame is that? A video game character is making my heart beat this way..

.....

The bell rang, it was lunch time
I stared at the food in awe
This looks even better than the real thing!!

I then heard some girls squealing around me

"Oppa you're so awesome!"
"No one plays better than you!"
"So handsome! kyaaa!!"

I turned my head just to see Taehyung coming in
Of course he'd have every girl around like that.
I felt a bit uncomfortable for some reason,
I couldn't possibly be jealous.. right?

He looked around until his eyes met mine

"Jimin!"

I smiled awkwardly when I noticed everyone staring at me

"Hey" he sat right in front of me "why were you so serious?"

"Is nothing"

"Really?" I looked up and saw him pouting.

I honestly couldn't help but giggle
It was like watching a little kid. He smiled in response

"Agh you're just too cute!" he said trying to make eye contact

"You shouldn't be saying those things here, your fans might hear you and get jealous"
I kept trying to avoid his gaze

"I don't care, you are the only one i'd say that to"

Maybe i shouldn't make it too hard for the A.I., it's just a prototype after all, so i sighed..

"Tell me about you, Taehyung.. i'd like to know you better"

"You would?!" he was obviously excited
"Let's see.. I love dogs, I have a puppy called Yeontan and I absolutely adore him.
I like videogames.." How ironic..
"and I like cute things, like you.."

I chuckled
"That's not gonna work"

"You can't blame me for trying" he laughed "I'm not kidding though"

"You know, if you want me to like you you're gonna need to be more honest"

He smirked "Alright.." he stood up
"come with me"

He took my hand and pulled me out into a room I wasn't familiar with
It was the school library

"What are we doing here?"

"I'm gonna tell you a secret..
actually i'll show you"

"But why here?"  I asked as I saw him search for something through some books

"Okay.." he pulled out a book from the shelf and pointed to a chair, he wanted me to sit next  to him
He sat really closed and took out some glasses from his pocket

"D-do you...?"

"Hey, don't make fun of me.
Yes, I do need them when I have to read or something like that.
Which is.. actually pretty often"

"It is?" for some reason that surprised me

"This is my secret place in school.. no one really comes here. So I like to come and read by myself, specially this" he showed me the book he grabbed earlier
"This is my favorite book. I know it might seem childish but, I really love it"

I stared at him, is he serious?

I absolutely adore that book!

"Are you kidding me?!
That's my favorite book ever!"
I was so excited for some reason. I've always believed that everyone should read it at least once in their lives.. and i've read it like fifty times already. Although it wasn't something i'd openly confess as everyone seemed to think it's a book only for children

His expression when he heard me say that was the purest thing i've ever seen. He looked so happy

"And now here is my secret, a very simple secret.."  he read out loud

" It is only with the heart that one can see rightly; what is essential is invisible to the eye"
I finished his sentence and watched him giggle
He looked so beautiful still wearing those glasses..

Maybe he's not as bad as I thought..
