"Wanna go get drunk?" Sofia whisper-yell at 1 in the morning, snapping me out from trying to sleep. I turn to her to see her staring at me from her bed through the dim lamp on the drawer between us.

"No..." I look at her suspiciously as she sit upright from her bed.

"A bunch of us are gathering by the lake to hang out and drink," she explain with a smile.

"You did hear Mrs. Johnson telling us to go sleep because we have to wake up early tomorrow, right?" I ask.

"So what? This is our last senior bonding trip. After this, we'll all go our own separate ways. We need to make the most of it." She argue.

I sit upright from my bed, "Wait, where did you guys get alcohol?" Mrs. Johnson and Mr. Stevens definitely checked our bags before we got on the bus.

She shrug, "I don't know. Some of the guys managed to snuck in beers." I raise my brows in questioning.

I can hear footsteps outside our room as they try to walk quietly down the stairs. They're going to get in a hell lot of trouble if Mrs. Johnson wakes up and catch them.

"Let's go." Sofia gets out from her bed and walk over to me. She grab my arm and attempt to pull me out of bed.

"No thanks. I rather sleep."

"Nope. You're coming with me." She finally manage to pull me out of bed.

I groan and give in, "Fine." I'm already wide awake. Might as well go for a few minutes.

She silently cheer for convincing me to go. I shake my head and grab my jacket to wear on top of my tank top while Sofia puts on her cardigan.

"Let's go." I follow Sofia out the door quietly. We bumped into some girls on our way out and we all managed to quietly exit the cabin and down to a different place of the lake I've never seen till now.

Somehow Sofia have disappeared from my side. There's a campfire a few feet away from the water, shedding light on the whole place. Some people are surrounding it to keep warm. Some are by the lake, drinking and hanging out with their friends. Some people are still making their way here.

That moment, a song starts to play. I look around to find the source and it's a guy playing it from his speaker. The song was loud only to the point where everyone here could hear it. Not loud enough to wake up the teachers.

This is actually really nice. It's refreshing.

A smile make its way to my face as my eyes travel around the lake, watching my fellow classmates enjoy this beautiful night together.

"Take one." Melissa hand me a beer.

"No, thank you."

"Up to you." She walks away.

By the way, where is Lucas? We haven't talked since he confessed to me. After we hugged, he left me and I haven't seen him since.
