Darcy's Pov:
Asgard. Gold. Green. Black.
"Oh dear," I heard someone say. I could barley make out the face and body structure. But I couldn't help but think I recognized the voice.
"It'd be a shame to ruin that pretty face." He finished. The man, as I thought by the voice, whipped me with a belt. Hard.
I yelped in pain. Again, another lash against my tailbone. Another scream.
Distant lights came on and I could make out the clothing of the man.
A gold helmet with horns. Green and gold dress attire.
Loki.
I bolted up right and screamed. My hand went to my right and I didn't see Haylee. Before I knew it Loki came in my room.
"What's wrong?! Darcy?! What's wrong?!" He asked nervously as he pulled me into a hug helping me stand.
I let out a sob. It turned into hiccups.
"Shhhhh, you're okay, you're okay." Loki kept reassuring me while stroking my knotted hair.
"Thank you," I said between a sob an hiccup. "For coming when I screamed." I thanked Loki.
"You're welcome," he said still rubbing my back and stroking my hair.
"Where's Haylee?" I asked.
"Your mother came and picked her up, I hid like Haylee had told me to. She said to your mother that you were still sleeping so Haylee left a note." He said giving me the note and walking me to the kitchen.
We didn't leave each other's side this morning. Well, except for the bathroom. That'd be awkward.
"So, dear Darcy, what did happen in the dream you had?" Loki asked hoping not to put me in tears again.
"Well, I was in Asgard," I started off. "And I was in a dark place. I saw flashes of green and gold and black. A person was there, he said, 'Oh dear, it'd be a shame to ruin that pretty face'. And then he whipped me. I yelped in pain each time it happened." I said giving him every detail.
"Then a distant light came on. I saw a gold helmet with horns, and green and gold dress attire. And I thought it was you." I said, having a tear escape my eye.
"Me?" He asked raising his eyebrows. I nodded and hugged him, even though we were sitting down.
I let tears escape my eyes that got his new shirt wet. We had been given a shirt from Ian that was too big for him but perfect size for Loki. Strange, huh?
Loki had hugged back and began to stroke my hair again.
"I would never harm you, Darcy." He said hugging me slightly tighter.
"I care about you." He said. I pulled back from the hug and look at him in the eyes.
Loki slowly bent his head down, alining my face with his. Then he kissed me.
As he pulled away I began to blush a bit.
"I care about you, too." I said holding my hand to his cheek.
We were interrupted by a doorbell.
I hate doorbells.
