We Can't Go There

Loki's Pov:

Jane Foster keeps squeezing me tightly through a hug.

"You're gonna be a daddy!" She said happily. Darcy looked as if she were ready to faint. I squirm out of Jane's grasp and rush over to Darcy before she can fall over.

"It was your turn to catch me anyway." She says.
The first night I met her...

I shake it away and carry Darcy bridal style to the couch. Which wasn't that far away, it was just easier and nicer than dragging her.

"Darcy, you're going to have to see a doctor, you know." She says. Darcy looks scarcely pale, more pale than usual.
I scurry over to the kitchen and get her some orange juice she had in the refrigerator.

I hand her the glass and she gulps it down. "I'm not sure if it'd be safe to see a doctor, Jane. It's, like, an E.T. baby. So-"

"We can't go there. Simple as that." I say. Darcy nods her head in agreement. Jane rests her head in her hands and her elbows lay on her knees, sitting on the armchair.

"Darcy needs to see a doctor, Loki. It's not like she can be sent to Asgard and be taken care of-" Jane says as I gain a look of mischief of my face. "...No. No no no no NO! You will NOT take her to Asgard!"

"Too bad. Now, either come with us, or keep things on a down low. And Jane, would you mind getting a bag together for Darcy? It'd be a real help." I say.

"Fine. I'll get a bag ready. I guess I might as well come with you, too." She says sighing.

"Darcy, you're going to Asgard a bit sooner." I say with a smile.
