As soon as Ethan came into the room Blake smirked at me before turning to Ethan. "Emma has something to tell you." I glared at him before looking down at my feet.
"What is it Emma because I have to go to work and I am already hired of yelling at people." He sighed.
"I went into a store that you don't want us to go into." I whispered. That got his attention fairly quickly.
"What store Emma?"
"Victoria's Secret." I mumbled. He glared at me before he started yelling.
"What have I told you about going in that store? You aren't supposed to go in it because it is nothing but trouble! That is the one store that mom went to all the time and I don't want you going in there and you end up being just like her!" When he said the last part he shut up. You could immediately see the regret taking over his eyes. Saying that I was mad would be an understatement. I was furious.
"You really think that a store would make me just like mom? You think that anything would make me like mom? You are dead wrong! Nothing in this world would make me act like her! Even if my life depended on it I would still never do it!" I yelled. I could feel the tears forming in my eyes wanting to escape but I held them back. Ethan tried to reach out for me, but I pushed past him running upstairs into the bathroom locking the door.
"Open the door Emma!" Brody yelled banging on the door. I paced back and forth before grabbing my razor. I did 10 on each arm before I started to get dizzy and I put the blade away and washed my arms of before bandaging them up and grabbing a jacket. I made sure that it didn't look like I was crying and opened the door. The whole time Ethan and Brody never stopped banging on the door so when I opened the door they both almost hit me in the face. I was immediately pulled into a hug by Ethan.
"I'm sorry sweetheart. I don't mean it. I know that you won't end up like her." He whispered not letting go.
"It's okay." My voice was very shaky. I could practically feel Brody's stare but I looked down.
"I'm so sorry. I was just so mad that you went there after we specifically told you not to go." He said finally pulling back.
"It's okay. You didn't mean it." I said trying to clear my throat.
"Why don't you go lay down and rest." I nodded and walked towards the bed getting ready to lay down when somebody touched my shoulder.
"Are you okay?" Brody asked.
"Yes. I'm fine." I whispered.
"No you're not. Your voice was all shaky when you were talking and I heard you grab something and then the water was running."
"I'm fine. I just grabbed a washcloth and wet it before using it." I lied. I could tell that he didn't believe me, but he walked away sighing. I took a deep breathe before climbing into the bed letting darkness wash over me.
