"Mom I can't find my foundation!" My daughter Erika yelled. I rolled my eyes about o reply when my son Cody replied for me.
"I took it. I don't want you wearing that shit." He replied. I could tell he was rolling his eyes.
"Cody Skylar Heart What have we told you about cussing? If I hear you cuss one more time your phone and car keys are gone! Now go downstairs and eat breakfast after you give your sister her makeup back!" Tommy yelled. I heard Cody start rummaging through things, before his door slammed and another door opened. I rolled my eyes but put breakfast in the table before sitting down to eat.
"How are you this morning love?" Tommy asked kissing my forehead.
"Fine. What time are you going to be home tonight?" I answered putting strawberry in my mouth.
"Around 6. Hartley said a new case popped up so it might be a little later than usual." Tommy was a lawyer for a big law company. "What time are going to be back?"
"I don't know. I have a lot of grading to get through." I was an English teacher at a college. I taught creative writing. He nodded and our other daughter Jane came down the stairs texting her boyfriend. She was Erika's twin, but she acted like she was much older. If you could guess, Cody and Tommy weren't very happy with the fact she had gotten a boyfriend.
"Hey mom Asher is going to take me to school."
"You can still sit down to eat right?" Tommy questioned.
"Sorry, but no. Asher said that he's going to get me Starbucks before he picks me up. He'll be here any second now." I wanted to roll my eyes so badly.
"Well have a good day at school." She smiled at me before going to get her bag.
"Are you seriously going to let her go with Asher? He's creepy. He hit on me the other day." Erika commented walking into the kitchen.
"What did you just say?" Cody asked from behind her making her gasp and turn around quickly.
"Nothing."
"Oh really? Dad did you hear her say what I think she did?" He turned to Tommy who looked pissed.
"I did. Jane get over here now!" He yelled. Jane walked in and crossed her arms.
"What?"
"Did you hear what your boyfriend did to your sister?"
"You guys figure this out I have to get to work." They nodded and I left. Even though they're crazy I wouldn't change them for the world.
