    Lily Adams walked down the halls of Westwood High, her school, trying to avoid Derek Jackson, her ex boyfriend. Derek abused her for a year before she finally got the courage to leave him thanks to her best friend Xavier Johnson. No one knew she was being abused, not even Xavier, and she wanted to keep it that way. She didn't want people to think she was weak. As she walked down the halls she looked for Xavier because she didn't like crowds. Whenever Xavier was around people would get out of his way not wanting to feel his wrath. Xavier was going to be the next leader of the biker gang called The Vipers. So people knew not to mess with him.
People also knew not to mess with Lily or else Xavier would go after them. He was very protective of Lily, everyone, besides Lily, knew Lily was Xavier's. Xavier wanted Lily to be his old lady (his girlfriend).
     Lily had a fear of men thanks to Derek, the only man she wasn't afraid of was Xavier, and her dad of course. That was only because they have know each other since childhood. She knew Xavier wouldn't hurt her and Xavier was careful to not do anything to scare her. If he was about to get in a fight he would make sure she was in a different room, then after the fight he would go find her and make sure she was ok. Lily would then take care of any wounds he had.
