Xavier dropped Lily off at the clubhouse with his parents and gathered a few club members. They drove to Derek's place and waited. Derek finally showed up and the guys jumped him. They told him that he better stay gone, Derek ran away with his tail between his legs, but little did they know what he had planned. If he couldn't have Lily then no one could.
The next day Xavier and Lily were out celebrating the fact that Derek was gone. Lily was walking across the parking lot when a car came out of nowhere and hit her, then backed over her to make sure she was dead. Xavier ran up to her, begging her to hold on. He called 911 then his best tracker and gave them the license plate. He was going to find out who did this and make them pay. They took away the love of his life, he hadn't even gotten to tell her yet. The ambulance finally arrived and took her to the hospital.
She was in a coma, and they didn't know when she would wake up. Xavier never left her side. His parents had to force him to eat and shower. Everyday he would tell her about their progress on finding out who did this to her. He knew it wasn't an accident.
It's been two months and she hasn't woken up yet. The doctors are starting to lose hope, they keep trying to convince Lily's parents to let her go. Later that day while Xavier was telling her that they found out who did it, it was Derek, he faintly felt her hand squeeze his. "Lily if you can hear me squeeze my hand again," he commanded excitedly. She squeezed his hand again. "Come on Baby open those beautiful eyes." After a few minutes her eyes fluttered open.
"Water," She croaked.
