Xavier got her water and held it up to her lips. He pressed the button that called the nurse, not wanting to leave Lily's side.
"Ah Miss. Adams you're finally awake, you've been out for two months," the nurse stated nonchalantly.
"Two months?" Lily asked shocked.
"Yeah those two months were torture," Xavier piped in, "I thought you weren't going to wake up," he stated tearing up, Lily quickly hugged him.
"It was Derek, Xavier, he was the one who hit me," she exclaimed.
"I know we have everyone looking for him as we speak," he soothed.
A few weeks has passed since Lily woke up. They found Derek trying to flee the country, he's now in prison for life. Lily and Xavier have been going strong and Xavier treats her like a queen. She treated him like a king. They were extremely happy together. They weren't planning on breaking up anytime soon.
