YA GIRL HAS HER BIOLOGY EOC TODAY IN LIKE 30 MINUTES AND IM CONCERNED I WILL FAIL.

Patrick skipped down the stairs. He'd just brushed the crumbs that Joe made off his carpet and now he was thirsty.

"Hold on!" His mother yells, trying to finish what she was chopping.

Patrick grabs a cup and fills it up with water, he's careful enough not to spill any on his hand. He turns around, about to carefully bring it to the counter. Suddenly, his mother, who was hurrying to the door bumped into him. Her shoulder tapped the glass and it split down his torso, arms, and legs. Patrick dropped the glass and stepped away, slipping on water and falling.

"Oh SHIT!" She yells. "Stand up! Stand up! Stand up!" She frantically pulls him up, his chest is already burning.

It's odd, she's usually so careful when around Patrick, even without water.

"What's going on?" His dad says from the office.

"I SPILT WATER ON PATRICK!" She screams.

His dad rushes out from the office. "How'd this happen?" He grabs his son and carries him bridal style to the couch.

Patrick's chest burns and his breathing is mildly restricted. A slight wheeze in his breathing is heard.

"Call an ambulance." His dad, remaining calmer, says to his mother:

"Who's at the door?" Patrick asks.

"Don't worry about that buddy. We need to get you better."

"The glass broke."

"I don't care."

"I'm sorry dad, I should've been careful."

"No, I should been more careful." His mother runs her hand through his hair.

Her hand is so cold, it feels nice.

"He's burning up."

"How long 'til the ambulance gets here?" His dad takes Patrick's glasses off.

"10 minutes."

"10!? We could get to the hospital faster."

"But his breathing."

Patrick wheezes. He felt like his lungs were at 50% of their normal 100%.

"I'm alright..." Patrick says breathily. It's hard for him to speak, so much oxygen being used.

"No..." His mother slowly brushes his hair from his face.

Minutes pass, his mother gives his cheeks kisses. She strokes his head with her oh-so cool hand.

"The ambulance is here." His dad walks over, picking up Patrick again.

"I can walk." Patrick wheezes.

"Yeah?" His dad cocks his head.

Patrick nods.

"Well so can I." He cracks a smirk.

Patrick smiles lightly.

"What happened?" The paramedic meets them at the door.

"My son is allergic to water an-and I accidentally bumped into him, his water spilt everywhere and onto him." His mother answers, remaining as calm as she can.

Which isn't very calm.

You know how motherly instincts are.

"Why did he have water if he's allergic?" The paramedics lead the family out of the house.
