That's all Pete heard upon arriving to school Monday. Everyone who knew of Panic! was trying to get in on the action.

"I'm sorry, I've got someone already to go with." Pete replied to each one.

"Hey bitch." Ryan tugged on Pete's backpack after school.

"Hey Ry."

"Oh my god, everyone kept asking you today."

Pete laughs. "I know."

"So who are you going with?"

"Well..."

"Pete..."

"I was thinking about..."

"Don't you say anyone but me."

"Come on Ry! I can bring whoever I want!"

"But this is my one shot at actually meeting Brendon! Asking him to prom!"

"You made your little video."

"Yeah but it's only gotten 10,000 views, no way Brendon will see it!"

Pete pauses in the parking lot. "10,000? Ryan that's amazing, you only posted it yesterday!"

"Well not enough to catch they eye of the sparkliest man in the world." Ryan says sadly.

"Ryan, be patient okay?"

Ryan huffs. "Fine."

"I'm not taking you though."

Ryan whines and stomps his feet like a kid who didn't get his candy.

"Stop it." Pete feels like the dad.

"Who is better than me?"

"A lot of people."

Ryan smacks him. "You bitch."

Pete smirks.

"Tell me though."

Pete sighs, he's not about to have this conversation with Ryan.

"Someone who likes Panic! as much as I do."

"HELLO?" Ryan shakes Pete's shoulders. "I know all the freaking songs! I'm basically part of the band!"

"Oh yes." Pete jokes. "I can see the headlines now, Ryan Ross joins Panic! At The Disco."

"It'll happen one day." Ryan crosses his arms.

"I bet it will." Pete nearly walks past his car.

"Why didn't you park back there with me?" Ryan points to his car.

"Next to your purple Punch Buggy?" Pete lightly punches Ryan's arm.

Ryan rubs his arms despite the hit barely hurting. "It's a fuchsia Volkswagen Beetle!"

"Same thing!"

"Not even close."

"Yeah, Yeah, whatever."

"I could drive you to the Panic! concert in my cool ass car." Ryan smirks.

Pete has a 2014 Honda Civic. He likes it though. It's reliable. It's not ancient but Ryan likes to think so. Something else about Ryan is that he's absolutely loaded. Something about his parents jobs...he's literally got the new 2018 version of his car. Has that even come out yet? It doesn't matter though, Ryan got one.
