I WENT FOR ICE CREAM WITH MY FRIENDS IT WAS GLORIOUS. BUT I THINK MY CRUSH SAW MY TAMPON IN MY WALLET SKDHWKDHEB

"I'm going." Patrick yells defiantly.

Now he understands all those cheesy movies his mom made him watch before high school. You know, how all the kids wanted to go to a party or something so they lash out at their caretakers? Patrick thought it was so cheesy.

Now he understands.

"Patrick, I told you! No!" His mother says.

Patrick mentioned how bad he wanted to go to prom. His parents wouldn't budge.

"PLEASE!" He stops his foot.

"Patrick!" His dad snaps.

"I NEED TO GO." He cries.

"Patrick, I'm pretty sure you don't need to go to prom with a friend that treats you like trash." His mom steps forward.

Patrick steps away, quickly. "You're wrong!" He screams, his throat feels raw by now. "YOU ARE SO WRONG!"

"How? I'm pretty sure your mother and I got it right." His dad crosses his arms.

"Pete didn't do anything! I like Pete!"

"Patrick, you're being to easy on him. Your friend literally made a pic-"

"HE'S MORE THAN THAT." Patrick yells.

Then it goes silent. The strict stance of his parents soften. Patrick is breathing heavy now, oxygen used up from yelling.

"I'm gay." Patrick whispers. "Pete's bisexual and we are going to prom together." His voice is soft now, drastically different from the yelling.

His parents stand there, shocked.

"Pete didn't do anything. He got all beat up because he got into a fight with the kid who posted it. Pete won and it all got taken down. You were wrong, hell, even I was...Pete is a good guy. Even if you believe everything I'm saying is bullshit, I will go to the prom. I don't care if I have to jump into 10 bushes, walk through a forest, run all the way to the school...I'm going to that damn prom." Patrick waits for a reply.

His parents look at each other, figuring out a way to respond. Patrick turns on his heel and walks up the stairs.

His parents don't stop him.

Pete knew it would happen today.

He just didn't know when.

Most of the morning was spent by his window, trying to keep himself busy. He would constantly take glances at Patrick's window, nothing would ever happen. Then he had to go to school.

Now he's standing by the exit door, waiting for Ryan's gay ass to walk over. He spots Ryan, how could you not? He's wearing a cream red colored shirt with bright blue khakis and brown shiny shoes.

"Hey Pete."

"Hey Ry."

"Damn...you look like shit." Ryan studies Pete's face.
