Her eyes met Kiley's. Her brown hair, her soft lips, and her freckled skin made Kiley want to kiss her, but she turned away as the fight stopped. That was when she realized it was just another day she pretended to be perfect, popular, purple-haired girl.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I had walked to class after the little incident. The girl that had bumped into Thomas left. The girl that got beat up by him got detention along with him and I. Apparently, I started it or so Thomas says. Currently, we are waiting for the girl to come out of the nurse's office. Looking around the room I saw Thomas, Lucas, and the brown haired girl. I don't know her name, but she kept looking at me.

The girl that had gotten beat up finally showed up and sat next to the brown-haired girl. A black eye was present on her face as well as a bloody nose. Thomas laughed, and she looked at him.

"Sorry, did I say something wrong?" he said. I laughed a bit, making the brown-haired girl look away. I felt a small pang in my chest but ignored it. The teacher started to continue detention as the two girls talked. Thomas was trying to hide his phone in his lap and I was trying to find a clock in the room, but instead, I found the brown-haired girl sleepily reading a kids book.

Her skin seemed to glow and her eyes were the most beautiful shade of chocolate I have ever seen. The teacher was flipping through a magazine, refusing to leave any of us alone, and the girl who was in the fight was staring into space.

Today was just another day in hell for me. Another beautiful day.
