Everything was perfect. They were talking. She was listening. Kiley was in her head. To bad they weren't alone.

-------------------------

I was in the car with the brown-haired girl and her friend. They were both on their phones but I figured that they were just talking to eachother. Mainly because they would both laugh or one would stare at the other with a pout. Brown-haired girl seemed happy enough with the other girl. The other girl's nose was bleeding and her bruises was prominate on her face. I just sat there listening to the music playing through my radio.

A few moments later the other girl told me to pull over. Her house was nowhere to be seen. Trees and bushes were the only homes and they seemed to belong to the animals.

"I can walk the rest of the way," she said. I felt somewhat happy hearing this but the brown-haired girl was tense.

"Are you sure?" brown-haired girl asked.

"I'm fine, just get home safe, OK?" she said. She slowly began walking off into the trees and down a trail I had just now come to see. I pulled out and started to drive further down. Brown-haired girl was quiet and had put her phone away. The music was still on but it was to quiet for me. To awkward. I sat up in my seat a little humming. Brown-haired girl was still not talking and I doubted that she even heard me. So, not knowing what else to do, I started a conversation.

"So, um, I didn't catch your name?" I asked thinking it was a good question.

"I didn't throw it," she answered. Why does that sound familiar?

"Can you throw it?" I asked my voice cracking. Why am I sweating?

"It's Ivy," she said gigiling. God, that voice. I am dead.
