Shit-faced (v)
The point at which you have consumed so much alcohol, that you are incoherent, have difficulty remembering simple thing i.e where you live, how old you are, how ugly you are, how ugly that girl you're about to sleep with is. Being 'shit-faced' is usually an experience you only want to try once, and never again.

"Where's the rest of them?" I ask Jin when he walks through the large crowd of horny, grinding teenagers in the living room of some kid I go to school with.

"They're on their way. I had to get out of that house. Where's Namjoon?" He asks, well, more like yells, at me as we get pushed around.

"He went to get drinks. I just hope they aren't spiked."

"Joon wouldn't do that."

"Yeah, but all the crackheads are stationed in the kitchen area, so it wouldn't be hard for them to spike our drinks as he walks by."

"Maybe I just won't drink tonight." Jin says and I nod in agreement.

"Can I ask a question?" I ask after a little while.

"Sure."

"Why did you have to get out of the house?"

"Ah, I had a fight."

"About what?"

"You remember Jacob?"

"That bitch fought with you?" I ask and before I know it, Jimin, Tae, and Charlotte are beside us.

"You fought with Jin?" I ask Jimin.

"I-"

"Yoon-" Jin starts.

"You haven't been here for long but I swear to anyone and everyone that I will beat your ass to smithereans if you so much as think about fighting one of the rest of us. We all have our bad pasts but ours are connected. Your's is merely a past to us." I say and Jimin is visibly scared to death.

"It-" Jin starts again.

"I-it won't h-happen ag-again, h-hyung." Jimin says with wide eyes.

"Good." I say as I step back. The only problem is, I sort of miss his body heat, despite the large amounts of sweaty teens all around me.

"What's up hoes? I brought drinks!" Namjoon says.

"And I put lids on them so they didn't get spiked." Hoseok says.

"I need to go. Mom needs me at home." Jimin says as he slides his phone back in his pocket.

"Let me walk you out." Jin says and Namjoon gives him a look.

"Did Yoongi upset you?" I ask once Jimin and I are on the front porch. He leans on the railing and looks out across the yard where half-clothed teenagers are riding on blowup pool unicorns.

"No, Jin, he didn't upset me. I'm just leaving because I love my mother and I felt homesick." He says sarcastically.

"Well I didn't know if your mom really needed you or not."

"I asked to come to this party, she's gonna let me stay."

"But you don't want to."

"Not when he won't listen to the whole story and wants to accuse me of upsetting you. Believe it or not, I've spent more time with him than I have with any of the rest of you. He has gotten to know me best and should at least have the idea that I wouldn't do that."

"You know why he's acting like this?" I ask as I lean back on the railing, facing away from the yard.

"Do enlighten me."

"He's scared. He has never met a girl and been so attracted to them. Let alone a guy. He doesn't know how to feel about it so he's trying to block it out. And that's how he deals with things. Anger."

"So come back in. Ignore Yoongi. Get shit-faced drunk. And have the best fucking time of your life." I say as I stick my hand out for him to take.

He takes my hand and smiles as I drag him back into the sweat pit.
