Near: Why is everything a competition between you and Mello?

I have to say, it really isn't. The only person here that has a problem with working together is Mello.
(Mello): Why would I ever want to work with him? The only thing he does is make things worse! I hate him. Everybody knows that I deserve to be L's successor!
