Jodi Parker

I tilt my head full of black hair to the side as I stare at my new school, feeling the rain drenching me the longer I stand in this parking lot. Forks High School looks a lot more intimidating than it should.....

"Hi!" I flinch when a perky voice shrills into my ears. "I haven't seen you before!"

"Because I'm new...." I halt my words quickly when I see the perky girl's eyes, they're bronze..... "are you?"

"What?" The girl asks.

"Nothing...." I reply, she is unaware of my species. "I'm Jodi Parker, I'm new here."

"I'm Alice Cullen," she shakes my hand- her hands are unremarkably cold, as I guessed they would be. "You need help finding anything?"

"Just the office," I reply. "So I can get this day started and over with."

Emmett Cullen.

I smell vampire on the beautiful new girl, but she has a irregularly low heartbeat. Her hair flows down to her lower back, but I haven't seen her eyes. Even so, my eyes haven't left her since she locked her bicycle away in the bike rack.

"Emmett, man, you're staring." Maverick, Rosalie's mate, says. "She'll be creeped out if she notices..."

"Guys...." Alice says slowly as she approaches me. "I think she knows..... I need to speak with Carlisle as soon as possible, I believe I know what she is too."

"Well, what is she?" Rosalie asks.

"I would rather not say," Alice replies, "not yet. I would like to speak with Carlisle first."

"He is for work tonight," I reply. "I'm going there after school, and shadowing him."

"I'll see him in his study at home," Alice says. "I'm speaking to him privately."

Jodi Parker.

Alice skips off towards her family, and they seem to have a serious discusión- probably about me. The big one keeps staring at Emme, even when he is talking to Alice. She never told me who they people were.

A loud sounding vehicle tugs me away from my thoughts, and my head whips around. There is a rust red truck pulling up beside a black van with rust around the wheels. A full human sits behind the wheel, looking extremely nervous. It must be her first day, too.

"Hi," I greet when the girl gets out of her truck. "I'm Jodi, I'm new also."

"Hi," She girl says shyly. "I'm Isabella, but please call me Bella."

"Wanna be friends?" I ask. "Everyone needs at least one on their first day of school."

"Yeah, sure." Bella replies. "Let's, ummm, lets go find the office."

"That might be harder than me imagine, Bella."

Emmett Cullen.

Jodi- Alice told us her name- introduces herself to the other new girl, Edward's blood-singer / mate, Isabella Marie Swan. Alice saw her coming, but she didn't see Jodi coming.

"She's beautiful, for sure." Jasper admits while we walk inside, he is holding hands with Alice. "Jodi is."

"She really is," Alice coos. "Emmett, is she your mate or something?"

"I....." I stop for a moment, yes she is. "I think so."

"I'll tell you my thoughts after I speak with Carlisle tonight." Alice promises. "Just let me speak with him first."

"We all are," Jasper says gently. "I have history, see you soon."

Jodi Parker.

My very first class is History, Bella's class is right across the hall.

"Yes?" The male teacher says from behind his desk, he appears to be kinda lazy at the beginning of the day- cannot blame ya there, sir.

"I'm Jodi Parker, I'm new." I reply.

"I was expecting you to be late," mr Johnson smirks. "New students get lost 80% percent of the time."

"I'm apart of the 20% who do not," I reply. "I studied the map, hard."

"A studier, wonderful." Mr Johnson says with a smile. "Have a seat beside Jasper, Miss Parker."

The guy I'm beside has dirty blonde hair and the same eye color as Alice.

"I'm guessing you know Alice Cullen," I say to Jasper.

"How do you guess?" Jasper asks.

"You two have an identical eye color, which is rare in full humans." I reply, then gasp at the realization of what I just said.

"Full human?" Jasper mumbles. "Weird."

Marcus Volturi (surprise!)

I step in front of my throne, and I stand fr a moment- looking around at the humans brought to us for a feeding by Heidi. Heidi came to us as a human, but Aro changed her when she was dying. If she weren't dying, she wouldn't have been changed. Because changing a healthy human is against the vampire laws- according to - Aro.

"Sit, brother." Caius says smoothly, "we do not bite."

As I sit, images of Libby Parker running out, pregnant, fills my head. It was in these rooms she confessed of carrying my impossible child, then left. I attempted to keep her here, but she was hard headed. She'd have rather died than stay another few months with me in Italy. Libby went to Greece, gave birth, and died.

"Marcus," aro speaks softly. "What troubles you?"

"Libby on the mind." I reply.

"Any word of the child?" Caius asks.

"All I know is that she stopped aging at the age of seventeen." I reply. "I have not laid eyes on her yet. It has been centuries."

"They buried Libby in the palace cemetery," Aro says. "Want to go to it?"

A sad smile appears as I nod, Jane hands us two cloaks- with the bigger hoods for our outings. We are visiting the cemetery.

Alice Cullen.
A hybrid? The word rushes through my head as I leave Carlisle's office. Jodi's a hybrid? Who is her vampire father? It is impossible for a female vampire to reproduce. It is rare for a male, and is deadly- as Carlisle just explained.  I find Emmett and the others, and I explain what I just learned about Emmett's mate.

Jodi Parker.

I ride my bike to the end of the trees, and I run into the woods. I find a clearing about fifty feet inward, and I gather firewood. Once a fire is started, I grab the bow from my bag- I'm burning for my food, I've been homeless for as long as i turned seventeen~~ centuries ago.

I kill a mountain lion, and use my partial vampire strength to carry the animal to my clearing. I grab my knife I carry and I hit the animal, and I cook the meat over an open fire.

I grab my parka from my bag too, and I lay against a tree trunk. My eyes close, and sleep finds me.
