A few days later.

I stand on top of the snowy mountain, looking over the trees. Jacob Black is carrying Bella up the mountain, to mask her scent. Edward is up here, he is just putting up the tent.

I close my eyes and I chant a Latin protection spell. It will keep Edward safe from whomever comes on this mountain. He will protect Bella, he told me not to use a spell on her. Being a good hearted witch, I obey Edward's wishes.

Footsteps regains my attention, and I notice Jacob approaching with Bella in his arms. My eyes roll physically before I turn back to the trees.  I say a small spell, for protection over my Emmett.

"This is day one," Edward says to me.

"The army should be here tomorrow, at the latest." I reply. "Might be tonight, at the earliest. We should be prepared, either way."

Edward stands beside me, looking at Jacob and Bella. "You was gone at Sam's..... Jacob kissed Bella, and she punched him."

"Ouch," I mutter- getting shivers at the sound of that, punching a werewolf on the face must be like hitting a ton of rocks.

"Yeah, sprained her hand." Edward smiles. "She didn't want it wrapped, however."

"That sounds like Bella," I wink at Edward. "Stubborn."

"If a human read the word witch in the dictionary," Edward begins, "it says you guys are supposed to be ugly."

I just shake my head. "They may have been. Libby wasn't ugly, I'm not."

"No, you're not." Edward says. "I proposed to Bella, after graduation."

"Awe.." I coo. "Good, you deserve her. She makes you happy, Eddie."

"You're marrying him!?" Jacob yells at Bella before walking off towards the cliff's edge again.

"He had to know sometime," Edward tells Bella as she looks at him in disbelief, then she chases after Jacob.

"To be honest Eddie," I say, "I feel back for Jacob in all of this. You and Bella are so happy, but he is blindly in love with Bella; or so he thinks. Now, his crush is getting married to his mortal enemy."

"I actually feel bad for him too." Edward says. "She just asked Jacob to kiss her."

My mouth falls agape, Jacob walks right up to Bella and smashes his lips into hers. My eyes have been scarlet since the news of the newborns. Carlisle did routine supernatural doctor tests, my eyes are stuck as scarlet.

"Let him enjoy it while he can," Edward says to me. "She loves me too much to go with him."

"She does, indeed." I agree with Edward. "Like I am with Emmett, she is completely and utterly in love with you, only you. I'm only in love with Emmett."

Edward smiles down at me before we see Jacob leave the mountain.

"I guess he is joining the fight in the clearing," I mutter. "I can't to a protection spell on him... it doesn't work on shape shifters, I wish it did. It said so in every memoir I have read."

"So Jake can get hurt?" Bella exclaims.

"Any of the wolves can," I reply. "I Can only pray they don't. Edward and the rest of the Cullen's are under a protection spell, though. Witches and Vampires are usually mates."

"What about me?" Bella asks, interested.

"Edward asked me not to," I reply honestly. "He said he would feel better if he protected you himself."

We continue talking until we hear Seth whimper. I walk up to the young wolf, and rest my hand between his ears.

The fight just begun. ~ Seth

"The fight just begun," I tell Edward and Bella. "Seth just told me."

"How?" Bella asks.

"I'm a witch, I have weird connections with wolves and Vamps." I reply. "I can mind link with the pack in their wolf forms."

"That is oddly cool," Bella says.

We hear the leaves in the trees move uncontrollably as if somebody landed on them. My eyes scan the trees, and I find Riley Biers. My eyes move a little to the left, to the other tree, and find Victoria.

"Victoria, how nice to see you." I coo.

"It's the witch!" Victoria exclaims. "She burned Libby to death."

"Riley," I say smoothly. "She doesn't really love you, ya know?"

"What!?" Victoria says in a pleading tone. "Don't listen to her, Riles. I love you."

"All of this?" I motion around, noticing how amused Edward is by how brave I am in the face of an enemy. "Vengeance. Edward killed her true mate, James. She wants Bella, mate for a mate." 

Riley flies to attack me, but I rose my hands. Riley's body goes flying to Seth instead, who is happily ripping Riley to shreds.

Victoria's crimson eyes widen at the sight, and she flies into Edward. They roll around in the slow for a while, she is unaware of the protection spell he is under.

Victoria gets in behind Edward, both of her hands on either side of his head- ready to snap it off. Bella grabs the closest and sharpest rock, and cuts into her hand, causing me to grin. Victoria looks at Bella, her eyes black with hi her. As Victoria goes to approach Bella, Edward grabs her head and snaps it clean off.

"Jodi?" Edward says, looking at me.

Smirking, I focus my eyes on her, her skin burning a little. "Ignis!" I exclaim in Latin, and Victoria's body is engulfed by flames. 

"Whoa," Bella smiles before we hear a howl.

"Be right back," I say before mumbling in Hungarian.

I transport to the clearing, where I see a naked Jacob. His face and chest are both drenched in sweat. I squat down beside him and place a hand on his chest. I close my eyes and say a little in Latin.

"That should ease the pain, Jacob." I whisper. "I cannot heal you. I haven't gotten that far in the books."

He is still gasping some, "That helped more than you think, Jodi."

Paul places a hand on my shoulder as I stand. "Wanna ride to Jacob's with us?" 

"Yes," I reply.

"I'll tell Edward," Alice tells me. "See you guys soon."
