Jodi Volturi.
Here I am again. Volterra, Italy. The Volturi castle. This time, however, is different. The last times I was here was over concerns of my species or meeting my father; this time, I am moving in.
I open the castle doors with a snap of a finger, and I walk in. Felix just hugs me when he smells me.
"We have a witch in the castle," Demitri smirks. "C'mon, I'll bring you to the throne room."
We walk down the halls, pass through the hole, and down a few more halls and a couple fights of stairs. We finally make it to the throne room after a few minutes of walking.
"We have arrived, miss Volturi." Felix smirks before he opens the doors.
All three men on the thrones stand together, as approach me. Felix kisses the top of my head protectively before he leaves the room, on Aro's orders.
"You have came to us." Aro smiles. "You are more than welcome, but why?"
"They Cullen's left Forks," I reply. "I wanted to travel on my own, to Italy."
Father grabs my hands and he just sighs. "Welcome to Volterra, Jodi Volturi."
"Jane," Aro says.
"Yes, master." Jane speaks.
"Show Felix and Jodi to Jodi's room," Aro says. "He is her guard."
Jane nods and she motions for me to follow her. She is a bit tense today.
"I am not tense because of you," Jane says when it is just me, her, and Felix. "I love that you are moving in. I just hate calling Aro Master."
"Change masters," I say. "I'll take you, you can just call me by my name or miss Volturi."
Jane smiles before saying, "I'll ask the Volturi men."
I unpack all of my belongs by hand, without te use of magic, with Felix sitting at my small desk. Once everything is unpacked, Jane is back.
"I am all yours," Jane says. "Aro has Alec, my brother."
"Good," I reply. "Now go and relax a while, Jane."
Jane sighs. "I don't want to relax."
"Then you need a master like Aro." I respond. "I'm not one bit bossy, I am the opposite of my father."
"You'll always be my friend," Jane says. "But I'll continue to work for Aro."
Marcus Volturi.
When Jane comes back, Aro chuckles.
"Told you," he says to Jane and us "I knew you would be back. Jodi is too kind hearted to be another vampire's master. She is fearless in the face of an enemy and would make an amazing leader someday. She just isn't a mean one, like us."
Jane nods. "She is nice, I would work for her but she wanted me to relax."
"You need to," Caius says. "I agree with Jodi, but you left because of the offer. You're stuck with Aro now."
Jane nods, remaining silent. Silence might very well be what is best for her. I look at Aro and Caius before my mind wonders on to someone more important; Jodi.
Jodi Volturi.
Felix grabs a pair of thongs up with a pencil. His eyes widen before a drops them super fast, making me laugh. He picks them up and drops them on the bed.
"Those look painful to wear," he mutters.
"They really are not that bad," I admit.
I put my undergarments up before Felix has to pick them up with a pencil. Felix makes faces at every pair of thongs, I only own five pairs. Felix made faces at each one.
"Wanna go to the garden?" Fathers voice asks as he steps inside. "Felix can walk behind us, if he feels more comfortable seeing you."
"He is my guard, father." I wink before I add, "Sure. Let's go to the garden. Come along, Felix."
My father and I walk outside, he has on his red cloak- to keep from glistening in the sun. I stop at the roses and I sniff real big. Closing my eyes and speaking a little Greek, my magic waters the flowers in the gardens. When I open them, the peddles of each flower in the garden are shiny with water.
"That was beautiful," father says with astonishment. "Show me more."
I lead him and Felix away from the gardens, where I don't fear I'll break the flowers. I stop in he center of some leaves, and in front of a river. I chant Greek as I rise my hands. The leaves and the water rise with them. Twirling my finger, the water and leaves work together to form a huge heart.
Felix snaps a picture of it on my phone, and texts it to Emmett for me. Emmett would always watch me play with or practice my magic, especially with nature. He hated that I had to use them for punishment towards a traitor name was Libby Parker, who used to be my mom.
"Thank you." I say to my father. "I needed this."
"I understand," my father replies. "We better head back. Heidi is bringing some humans to the throne room."
Felix walks me to my room, before e stops at my door. "You mind is I go feed?"
"I'll put a protection spell on my room for the night, Felix." I say, noticing how dark his eyes are. "Go feed. You need your strength."
Felix kisses my head before he goes to the throne room. I chant in Latin this time, putting my bedroom under a protection spell. Nobody in or out until I lift the spell.
I change into some pajamas then i climb into my bed. Sleep finds me as soon as my head hits the very soft pillow.
