Libby Parker.

You see, Marcus thinks I am dead and so does my dear daughter Jodi. Aro and Caius are not aware I am live either. Everyone thinks I died when I gave birth. Nobody knew I used a protection spell that let me live.

So here I am, in Volterra, Italy. This is the country I fell pregnant, and also the country I ran away from. I am right outside the Volturi castle, where my parents were hung, and where I met Marcus.

With a snap of a finger, the doors leading into the palace open. Felix and Demitri recognize me instantly, and their mouths fall agape.

"Ora ragazzi, chiudi la bocca prima di prendere le mosche.." i say with ease, telling them to close their mouths before they catch flies.

"Libby," Demitri mutters. "You're alive."

"Aro, Marcus, and Caius are in for a surprise." Felix says with a smirk.

"That is the point of my coming unannounced," I wink at Felix. "I do not remember my way to the throne room. An help?"

"Follow us," Demitri says.

"You'll fail," Felix says. "You did when Jodi met Marcus."

"Wait!" I exclaim, my stomach drops. "Jodi and Marcus met?"

"Yep," Felix replies. "Good girl. The guys trained her when she was a vampire."

A cold feeling rushed through me when he says that. "She stayed here?"

"Twice," Felix replies as we go through a good sized hole, Demitri really did bail. "Once when she transformed from hybrid to Vampire, then when from vampire to human."

My stomach drops more, I cannot believe they met despite my struggles to flee the country to try avoiding it. Yet again, this was centuries ago.

"Her witch is out," I say.

Felix stops right where he is walking, "what?"

He didn't know this!? She was a human before a witch? "She's a witch now."

Felix's eyes twitch in anger, "the throne room is this way, Libby, come on before I change my mind."

"You're not angry with Jodi, are you?" I ask as we reach the doors to the throne room.

"No, I would never be." Felix replies as his hands reach the handles. "Just at Marcus, for getting involved with a witch."

With that, he shoves the doors of the throne room open. Marcus's eyes look up first, and they widen in shock and anger. Aro looks amused and impressed, and shocked. Caius looks even angrier than Marcus.

"Libby," Marcus says coldly as he stands. "How are you here?"

"Pr-protection spell," I stutter, instAntly afraid of the three men in front of me.

Marcus goes down three steps, before he slowly approaches me. He has really let his emotions slip.

Marcus gently touches me before he throws me across the room, his eyes black with anger.

"Brother," Caius says with concern. "Remember Jodi."

"How can i forget such a magnificent..... wait." Marcus stops talking and glides over to me, flies. He lifts me up by the collar of my leather jacket. "Is she a witch, Libby?"

Caius looks bewildered, his eyes wide. "Is she?"

Aro's face has morphed from impressed to shocked and bewilderment. "Libby, it might be best if you answer them..." he just keeps silent of his comments.

"Y-yes." I choke as Marcus wraps a stone cold hand around my throat. "I checked on her. She is beautiful, and she knows what she is."

"I spoke with Carlisle last night," Aro says. "He voices his concern... I called the man ridiculous."

"Why?" I ask, gasping for air.

"Marcus," Aro says sternly.

Marcus hesitantly removes his hand. "He told Carlisle it was impossible, the witch line died when you did."

My heart drops at the emptiness of Marcus's words. He returns to his throne, and he sits. Aro is the one to approach me, he is usually a tad more understanding.

"You mind?" He questions, looking both angry and confused.

I remove my black glove, and hand him my bare hand. Aro closes his eyes, and he begins searching my mind for answers I cannot give. When his eyes open, they are black.

"Leave Jodi alone," Aro says cooly. "She doesn't know you. If she know you're alive and just didn't want her, she will be livid. I do not want her angry."

"I will not!" i snap, my eyes turning ice blue.

"Fine," Aro says as he backs away. "If she is angry, I want bragging rights. We have gotten to know Jodi the past few months."

With those words, I turn to leave. Caius flashes in front of me.

"I don't think so," Caius says. "Not so fast."

I touch his forehead and Caius is out cold. "I'm going to see my daughter."

Before leaving Volterra, I stop by the castle cemetery and look at my empty grave, and frown.

Jodi Cullen.

Rosalie, Alice and I just got back from dress shopping. Prom is just next week, and we needed dresses. Rosalie and Alice both have dresses, but they wanted new ones to wear instead.

I go up to my room, and hand my dress in my closet. Jasper and Maverick are in my room, looking at books- trying o ignore the changing witch in the room.

"Goodnight, gentlemen." I coo before I wrap myself in my blankets.

Sleep soon finds me.
