"Lilith Christo, FBI," Annabeth says, holding up her (fake) badge.
"You're here investigating the murder of Sally Jackson? I didn't think the FBI would care about that." The man said, looking for a file.
"You said her heart was ripped from her chest, correct?"
"Aren't you a little young to be an FBI agent?"
"I'm 27, I've been at this 2 years, don't worry." Annabeth said, taking the file she had spotted on the desk. "I'd like to see the body."

Vampire could be the most reasonable answer, with the bite marks and all, but the ripped out heart would point to werewolf. Eve had been creating new crossovers of monsters, the types aren't compatible though...
"Miss Christo?" Annabeth's head cracked up at the sound of her fake name. She ran a hand through her freshly died red hair (jello).
"Yes, Doctor?"
"Please, call me Bob."
"Okay, Bob, what is it?" She asked, professionally.
"I think it was an animal attack but the cutting of the heart looks neater than any wolf you would see."
"Plus, I bet you don't see many wolves in California; especially on your way home from work."
"Exactly; the vic is malled, bruises and cuts and the like, but her heart is neatly cut out, then there are bite marks on her wrist."
"Thank you, Doctor, I'll call if I find anything. Have a nice day," Annabeth said, walking out of the room.
"Well, this is probably going to hurt."

She had found it. A vamp/werewolf hybrid. The match was made in hell, but they worked together amazingly. Good thing vampires and werewolves hated each other because otherwise the world would be so much harder to save. It was walking into an apartment complex. Annabeth figured that it had a wolf shifting but it also could control the shift. The moon was damned in this situation. She slyly followed, the hybrid stopped and turned her head slightly. She shrugged and walked in, Annabeth followed in pursuit. When she was finally in the building, she ran towards the elevator. The hybrid closed it before Annabeth could jump in. She was hoping she could have just done a quick beheading but that was obviously no longer the case. The elevator had gone to the fiftieth floor, Annabeth dashed to the stairs, taking three at a time. By the time she got to the fiftieth floor Annabeth was panting but grateful she worked out this morning. The hybrid turned around and saw her, the hybrid ran down the hallways, Annabeth chased.
"Look, can you stop following her? I want my first kill to actually be my kill." Annabeth turned around to see a man about 23 running besides her.
"What's your fight in this?"
"She killed my mom." The boy said, pulling out a ballpoint pen, he uncapped it, producing a long sword. Annabeth blinked in surprise.
"Where did you get that?"
"My dad," he said rushing forward. "You a hunter?" he yelled as he fought off the advancing hybrid. "Hey, I'm just supposed to cut off her head, right?"
"Go for it." It almost looked like dancing, the hybrid clawing and Percy prancing around lightly. The UV sun rays bounced off his black hair, he was tan and toned, but his eyes were the thing that told Annabeth he was an amazing person, just amazing. Brilliant sea green eyes. His shirt was ripped in places where the hybrid clawed at him.
"Your mother was stringy, you should be better, maybe I can have some fun first," Percy raced forward and cut off the hybrid's head. She died laughing, a madwoman's cackle.
"Who phrases stuff like that anymore?"
"You're holding you sword wrong."
"What? I just unalived that thing!"
"Actually despite popular belief, a monster is still partly human, unless it's something born that way, which in this case, she was not."
"What was she?"
"A hybrid, I didn't expect to be this easy."
"Easy?" he asked his eyebrows raised in confusion.
"She was obviously inexperienced. One kill only, not skilled enough to kill your mom."
"What does that mean?"
"It means there's another hybrid."
