"Where are we even going?!" Percy exclaimed.

"Well, considering your mood, Starbucks. To get coffee."

"I don't like coffee." He grumbled.

"I'll get you a biscuit then. After we're going to Arizona."

"What city?"

"Phoenix," she answered, staring at the road before her.

"Annabeth, can I please change the channel?" It then hit Annabeth what the lyrics finally were.

"Why-I need coffee. At this point, I'll settle for McDonalds." She said, changing the channel to a song where she didn't want to slap the writer.

"Can we go the movies?"

"What?"

"Guardians of the Galaxy is in theaters now. I never got a chance to see it."

Annabeth raised an eyebrow, she would have said no, but he looked so cheerful-stupid baby seal green eyes!

"Sure, fine." His lips broadened into a grin.

"Maybe after coffee."

He looked like he would start cheering.

"I said maybe."

"That was AWESOME!" Percy exclaimed pumping a fist into the air.

"That popcorn was priced ridiculously high," Annabeth muttered.

"Come on, you liked it," he said, playing shoving her with his upper arm.

"Starlord is hilarious and both of the main women were completely amazing. And Rocket, I never thought I would feel bad for a raccoon." She said, throwing back her head and pouring the rest of the skittle bag into her mouth. "Now, if only someone would make a Wonder Woman movie."

"I don't understand why they haven't. If they put effort into it, it could be better than all the Superman movies."

"Not the Batman movies?"

"Nothing beats Batman."

"Except the Joker."

"He didn't..?"

"If Batman killed the Joker, the Joker would have won. They're at a standstill, still, so really the Joker's winning because Batman can't do anything."

"Pun intended?"

"When has it ever not?"

"That's your third cup of coffee, this hour," Percy said in amazement, setting his half eaten muffin onto the table.

"I run on six hours of sleep a week and caffeine, nothing new."

"So, what's the case?"

"Not sure. We'll see when we get there."

"Victims?"

"None yet. No one's died."

"Then what's the case?"

"It's unsure. It might be a case, it might not."

"There's nothing happening?" He asked.

"Exactly. It's quiet, not town quiet, but too quiet."

"So we're going to a perfect place..because you think it's too perfect?"

"That is what I'm saying. Do you have a problem with that?"

"No. No problem, I'm just trying to figure out how your brain works, Wise Girl."

"..what?" she asked him.
