Annabeth glared at the coffin, they had found a quick case that had turned into a three day hunt for three different ghosts and it was almost over.

This body burns and they go to the warehouse.

Percy seemed to be okay now. He took a bath and came out as if he'd never broken his leg and the gash on his arm wasn't an inch deeper than the others.
Annabeth soon learned the answer when Percy told her about his dream while unconscious in the park.

She'd also told him what the note says.

Warehouse, you know the one.

"Annabeth, we don't have to wait, let's get in the car and drive." She let herself be pulled away from the body.

----------------------------------------------

Annabeth's head hit the pillow happily.
It had been a long drive even after Percy fell asleep in the car. She fell asleep after ten minutes of staring at the ceiling, feeling her muscles unclench.

"Annie! Hello," Annabeth was surrounded by a darkness almost like when cartoons step out of their shows but when she heard his voice she whipped around and who she saw wasn't possible.

"Luke?" He almost suffocated her in a bear hug.

"You're so old!" He exclaimed.

"You should have been older." Luke held her cheek.

"Look, this isn't going to last long. So listen." Annabeth nods. "None of this real, Your friends aren't dead, the demon is and you're asleep the night you saved Nico." Annabeth raised her eyebrow.

"That's bull."

"Are there intervals of time you can't remember at all, do somethings feel flaky or blurred?" Annabeth didn't speak. "Kill the demon here then remember, don't trust angels."

She was in pain and her hand was sticky when she woke up. Annabeth lifted it in front of her face and blood dripped from broken nails and a large cut in the middle of her hand. Her blood stained the sharp corner of the bed side table.

"Crap," Annabeth stood and went to the bathroom to wash it off and bandage it. Afterwards she attempted to clean the carpet, which didn't work as she only had a travel size bottle of shampoo and soap.

"Hey, you ready?" Her head snapped up in a painfully quick way that there were stars in her eyes.

"Just let me get dressed." She shook her head and a phrase came back to her that didn't make much sense.

Don't trust angels.

Annabeth glanced at the building and held a knife in her hand like it would actually hurt a demon. It was weird, this warehouse was basically where everything went wrong, yet it seemed welcoming even though the colors were grey and boring. She was drawn to the building and she took off towards it, scaling the building and using the shadows to hide herself, Annabeth broke a window large enough for her to fit through.

"Hello, darling," a handsome middle aged man with Arabic accent turned around and smiled like he was the devil offering a deal. His eyes flashed black and Annabeth threw her knife at his eye. While it did hit him straight through, he acted as if it were a toothpick in a sandwich. He plucked it out and tossed it behind him.

"Exorcizamus Te, Omnis Immundus Spiritus, Omnis Satanica, Potestas, Omnis Congregatio Et Secta Diabolica, Ergo, Draco Maledicte Ecclesiam," the demon simply stood but it was obviously having an effect. "Tuam. Secura Tibi Facias Libertate Servire,Te Rogamus, Audi Nos," the dark cloud screeched out of his body and Percy had just scrambled in through broken window.

"Okay, well, that's over." He started through the door.

"Wait!" Annabeth yelled but it was too late. A cage dropped from the ceiling and landed on Percy. He grasped the bars as soon as the realization hit him.

"Annie, how are you doing?" Annabeth whirled around and knew it was the demon who had haunted her since the day it had killed half her family and sent Thalia running.

"Considering I'm about to exorcise you? Great." The body it had stolen was female, her face was carved up and bleeding. She started laughing, Annabeth's knife flied and it went through Percy's neck. Annabeth screamed and ran towards the cage, catching his body.

"In the end you'll never win, everyone you love will die and it'll be your fault. I've killed all your friends, that punkish acorn faced girl was hard but not impossible. Made me have to find a new body. Now it's your turn, except I don't want to kill you, I want to possess you." Annabeth glared the demon and started the exorcism. As soon as she got to the Te, the demon had reached her and placed a hand over Annabeth's mouth.

"None of that." Annabeth bit the hand and struggled out of the demon's grasp. She pulled her phone out of her pocket and hit play.

"Eat it, dipstick," Annabeth gasped.

The demon started laughing.

"Stupid, you can't kill me, I'll just come back."

"Actually, you won't," a new voice entered the conversation.

"Crap," was the only thing the demon said before a man with impish brown features plunged a weird silver knife into the host body's chest, it crumpled to the ground.

Annabeth woke up gasping and coughing.

"Oh so now you wake up? Right when I save our butts," Percy said, his hands on the steering wheel.

"You almost killed us!" Nico exclaimed.
"It was as bad as Reyna's driving! Did you fall asleep?" Annabeth nodded and opened her glove department and grabbed a granola bar.

"I need to eat," Annabeth said.

"If we go to McDonald's I'll pay," Nico stated.

"Whatever," Annabeth muttered, unwrapping the granola bar and biting into it.

"I had the weirdest dream."

"Me too," Nico said. "But mine involved Will."

"So did mine."

"Sexily?" Nico's eyebrows raised.
