"Bret! Bret!" I said.
"Yeah, whatsupp!" He replied.
"I have some bad news, my mom wants me to go home for a week so I'll be missing school." I said softly.
"Abby, that's great!" Bret replied enthusiastically.
"How is that great! I will have to find a part time job, by the time I come back I will have a library full of notes to catch up on. But worst of all... I won't be with you." I said pitifully.
"Abby, I get what your saying.. but family comes first. " Bret said.
"Yeah yeah I know." I replied.
"We can always video chat, some people go for months and years without seeing thier other halves. Its okay trust me. Go. This is your family we are talking about." Bret answered
"Alright fine, I'll go. " I said.
"Your making the right decision Abby."
"Moms coming to pick me up tommorow. I'm going to miss you Bret." I replied hugging him.
"I'm going to miss you too Abby. But when you come back I will have a surprise for you" he said smiling.
