chapter 10- Big News

The loud laughter of men woke me up from my spot on the couch. I lifted my head up and slowly opened my heavy eyelids, I looked around the room and saw the 5 Seconds of Summer boys chilling by the door.

They were looking at a phone, which must've had something funny on it, since they were all laughing hysterically. I groaned quietly and sat up, which made the boys look at me.

They all kept laughing while looking at me, which made me curious so I got off the couch and walked over to them. There was a video playing of a basketball game.

It wasn't pro, college, or even high school ball. It was street ball, the kind I loved with all my heart.

I watched the video and noticed there was a small white girl playing with a bunch of tall, grown men, it was me! I gasped and took the phone away from Calum.

"Where did you find this?" I asked, continuing to watch this video of everyone playing basketball, including me.

"It's all over social media." Ashton said and leaned against the door frame.

"Why? Wha- how?" I said and shook my head at the video.

"I don't know, but someone uploaded it and now it's becoming viral." Michael said and giggled a bit.

"Wait, then why were you laughing?" I ask and face them all, giving them a stern look.

"Because you run like you have a stick up your butt!" Calum says and they all laugh.

"Do I really look like that?" I say seriously this time.

"Yeah, but we didn't realize that you were this good." Luke said watched the video closer.

"All I do is dribble around the players and make layups, and sometimes jumpers, but that's it." I said and gave the phone back to Calum.

"Well you can play, that's for sure." Luke said and gave me a small wink, which made me smile.

"Which means I can whoop your ass." I challenge him, and he laughs. The boys all around us all "Ohh!" and I continue to stare down Luke.

"I bet you can." He said with a small laugh.

"Oh, I know I can." I give him the 'I know I'm better than you' face.

"Prove it." He said and leaned in closer, so that our faces were inches apart.

"Next time we have a hoop and a ball, come and get me." I say fiercely and he smirks then stands up to his full height.

"You're sassy, aren't you?" Ashton says with a laugh.

"Of course she is!" A female voice nearly yells from outside of the dressing room.

We all look and see who's voice it is, it was El, along with her was Sophia.

"El! Soph!" I squeal and run towards them, hugging Sophia and then El.

"Not too hard, okay?" El said and pulled me off of her. I totally forgot to tell them about Luke and I!

"Sorry, but you'll never believe what happened!" I say and a wide smile spreads across my face.

"Oh, whatever it is, I think I can top it." El fake laughs and Sophia looks at her, giving her wide eyes.

"Uh, okay. What's up with you?"  I ask, confusion written on my face.

"Maybe back at the hotel." She says giving me a wink, and then goes to greet the boys.

The concert ends about fifteen minutes after the girls arrived. Which I was excited about, I wanted to know the big news. When my fathers walked off the stage, they were sweaty and laughing.
