Chapter 28

I looked down and saw a red liquid dripping down my leg. Blood.

"Ross! There's blood dripping out my...thing!!" I screamed.

Shor and Juliet came running in and cleaned me up while Ross called 911.

I felt a weird feeling in my stomach and it hurt so much. I breathed so hard I felt like I was going to have the baby.

The paramedics finally busted in and put me on the gurnee.

"It will all be okay." Ross whispered.

I nodded, breathing hard with all of the pain inside my belly.

"Will mommy be okay?" Rebecca asked.

"We hope so, Becky, we hope so." he said.

I closed my eyes and I saw everything blurry. Then, I went out like a light.

Ryder's POV

I was playing with Rebecca until we heard my daddy screaming "Help!!"

Me and Rebecca dropped our Barbies and ran into where the screams were coming from.

Juliet and Shor were cleaning something and daddy was calling someone, the police, I think.

Doctors put mommy on a gurnee and took her away.

"Will mommy be okay?" my older sister, Rebecca, asked.

"We hope so, Becky, we hope so." he said, rubbing our backs.

They took my mommy away. No one takes my mommy!

I ran but daddy held me by the collar he pulled me back hard that I could've choked.

"Daddy! I need mommy!" I yelled, my eyes filling with tears.

"Just please calm down, baby. Mommy will be okay." he whispered.

Ross's POV

Riker drove us to the hospital behind the ambulance. We finally arrived and we went in.

"Get her to surgery. She's losing it!!" the paramedic yelled.

They ran in and we parked fast as all of us Lynches and Lynch children ran in to see what was happening.

"Boyfriend of Ms. Zoe Ross?" he said to me.

"Husband and her name is Mrs. Zoe Lynch, by the way. What's happening?" I asked, a little annoyed.

"She is losing the baby and we don't know if the baby will die, Zoe will die, or even both." he slightly frowned.

"Please save her and the baby." I said, grabbing his shoulders.

"We'll do everything possible." he said, patting me on the back.

He ran into the surgery room Zoe was in and they had began...

Me, Rydel, Riker, Rocky, Ratliff, and Ryland gave the kids our phones to distract them from the news.

Four hours later...

I was still in my seat, thinking about the baby and her.

"Mr. Lynch?" the doctor looked around.

"Yes sir?" I responded.

"Zoe and the baby survived but we need to hold the baby in an incubator and Zoe is in special care for a few days. But we are not certain the baby will survive. It's a very small chance the baby could die. We don't even know the gender yet. It's the size of an adult's palm." the doctor explained.

"Can I see Zoe?" I asked.

"No. We need to still close her up but we just wanted to update your news." the doctor smiled.

"Can I see the baby?" I asked once more.

"Yes, but you need to disinfect your hands if you want to touch him or her." the doctor replied.

"Okay." I smiled.

He nodded in agreement and gave me a disinfectant and I had to put a doctor's mask thing on my mouth.

We went in the incubation station (A/N: Haha, that rhymes!) and I saw my little baby in the little clear box.

It looks like a boy. What should I name it if it's a boy?

"Bad news to take, Mr. Lynch." the doctor said, scaring me.

"Your wife...she's about to die and she has a few minutes to live. Make your few moments last." he said.

I gasped, "She's dying?"

"I'm very sorry." he frowned.

I ran in the room and brought the kids by my hands.

My siblings heard the news already and it's time to explain to the kids.

"Kids, mommy needs to go." I said.

"Where?" Juliet asked.

"She's going on a vacation." I said, putting a fake smile.

"For how long, daddy?" Ryder asked.

"A long time, sweetie." I explained.

"Mommy is dying, isn't she?" Rebecca's voice whispered in my ear, choking a bit.

"Yes, I'm sorry." I said.

"Mommy, don't leave." Rebecca cried, hugging her.

All the kids began crying, hugging their mother.

"I love you so much, Zoe. I swear I'll never forget you." I said.

"I love you too, Ross. Care for the kids, be a great father like you are. Never stop chasing your dreams. Find out who M is. Please. I lo-"
