Chapter 12

Ross POV

" Ross Wake up!" Rydel said.

"What? Why? I don't have anything to live for anyways, my Zoe is dead!" I said sadly.

"Ross what are you talking about?" Rydel asked.

"Zoe, she's dead. She died, Rydel." I started crying.

"What? No Zoe never died Ross she's still at the hospital." Rydel said.

" What do you mean? The doctor said she passed on. We were just crying five minutes ago. What are you talking about?" I said.

"Ross that wasn't real. It was all a dream. You scared the kids though because you were yelling 'I can't be a good father without Zoe! I need Zoe!' " Rydel said.

"So it wasn't real, it was all a dream?" I asked.

"Yes Ross. You fell asleep as soon as you got back here." Delly simply said.

"Oh. Well I'm gonna go see her. I'm bringing my kids with to." I said.

"OK I'll get them ready for you." she said.

"OK thank you." I said as she left the room.

My Zoe is still alive. She may not be awake and alert but she's still alive. My princess is still here.

"OK you guys have to stay quiet OK." I said talking to the kids.

"OK Daddy!!!" Becca yelled.

"No Becca, quiet. Let's play a game, OK?" I said.

" OK what's the game?" Becca asked.

"Its called, the shh-shh game." I said trying to make the 'quiet game' sound more fun.

"How do you play?" Ryder asked.

"the shh-shh game is really fun." I said smiling, well smirking because the kids didn't no the difference.

" Who ever stays silent, doesn't talk, until I say so will get a prize. OK?" I said.

"What's the prize daddy?" Shot asked.

"Ice cream!" I said. I watched Rebecca's, Ryder's, and Short's eyes get real big when I said ice cream.

" OK! I'm gonna win!!!" Shot said.

"Not uh I'm goons win!" Ryder said.

"No I'm gonna win!" Becca said.

"The game starts... now! who ever wins gets ice cream!" I said stopping them before they start fighting. I pushed the twins stroller towards the elevator and the others followed me. The doors opened and I pressed Zoe's floor. We rode the elevator, in silence, all the way to her floor.

"Hey Zoe, I have all the kids with me today. They are so quiet though because they are playing a game." I said to Zoe.

"Zoe please wake up, please we all love you very much and don't know what we would do without you." I said.

" Kids, do you wanna say hi to mommy?" I asked. They nodded instead of talking.

"You can talk now." I said.

"I won! No I did! No me!" they all said.

" It was a tie, you all get ice cream." I said.

I put the three oldest on Zoe's bed.

"Mommy, please wake up. it not nap time anymore." Becca said. that was so sweet and sad all at the same time. I had to hide my tears.

"Mommy, I wuv you!" Ryder said.

"Mommy, its time to play!" Shor said.

"See Zoe, the kids miss you, I miss you, we all miss you, please wake up!" I said.

I looked over at my kids again and then back to Zoe. I grabbed Zoe's hand and felt...
