-Toni POV-
I woke up on Monday morning and looked next to me. Cheryl was still sleeping, so I planted a kiss on her forehead. "Princess, you gotta wake up, we have school." I said. Cheryl groaned, "I just want to stay home and cuddle with you all day." I sighed and rubbed her arm. "I wish we could, but we have rehearsal today. That will be something to look forward to." I told Cheryl. She smiled and nodded. We got out of bed and got ourselves ready for the day and then went to school. When we entered the school, I took Cheryl's hand and went over to our lockers. She was only a few lockers down from mine, so we could still talk to each other. "So, are you excited to be the best Santana Lopez anyone has ever seen?" I asked Cheryl. Cheryl smirked and shrugged, "I've been ready my whole life." I laughed and closed my locker after gathering my things. I wrapped my arm around Cheryl and we headed to class. "You are going to be an amazing Brittany. You are so caring and sweet, and let's not forget how big of a dork you are." Cheryl said with a laugh. I playfully shoved myself into her with a laugh and she giggled. "Well, this is my stop. I'll catch you at lunch." Cheryl kissed my cheek and went into her class. I smiled as I watched her leave– I couldn't wait to act alongside her as girlfriends. It feels amazing to be able to do a musical that we could be together in. I tapped my pencil through my classes, waiting for the day to end. At lunch, I sat by Kevin, Fangs, Sweet Pea, and Cheryl. "Soo.." Sweet Pea started to say, "did you two, you know..." Kevin shoved his arm and shook his head. "You can't just ask people that," Kevin said. I looked at Cheryl with my eyes widened, so were hers. She was just as freaked out as me. Sweet Pea shrugged and Fangs spoke up, "So are you guys ready for the musical?" I nodded with a smile. "Especially because I'll be acting with this one," I said as I gave Cheryl a side hug and she smiled. Kevin made an "aww" sound, causing the table to laugh. As we finished up our lunches, the bell rang and we all headed to our next classes.
-Cheryl POV-
I couldn't concentrate during class, I was too excited for the musical practice after school. I couldn't wait to show riverdale that I am proud of who I am. I sat in science for an hour before the bell rang and I hurried out of the room. I rushed over to my locker and gathered my belongings. I then went over to Toni's locker and leaned against the wall. "Hey," I said. "Is the princess excited for the musical?" She asked. I smiled and nodded, "Yeah, c'mon, hurry! We don't want to be late!" I exclaimed. After Toni grabbed her belongings, we joined hands and went to the auditorium. Chairs were set up in a circle on the stage with our names on each chair. My chair was in between Fangs and Toni. I sat down and waited for Kevin to pass out the scripts to all the actors. "Welcome to the first day of musical rehearsal, I will be passing out the script shortly. First, though, I'll be explaining the plot." He said. "McKinley High has a failing music program and if they don't win nationals, they will be discontinued. Rachel sets out for a quest to recruit a few people to join glee club, including Finn. Finn is the school's most popular jock and is told by Rachel that if he's in this, he is given a reward of some sort. Behind the big events, Kurt and Blaine are currently dating, Quinn and Puck have some unexpected news, and Santana is questioning her feelings for Brittany." Once Kevin was done presenting the musical, he gave us all our scripts. I opened mine and was happy to see that there was a kissing scene for Santana and Brittany. I smiled at Toni and she smiled back. "Let's start from scene one! The show's in one week, we need to start reading through this." We nodded and started to read through the script. Mr. Schue started off the show with narration and then Rachel took over to recruit members for the glee club. Quinn, Santana, and Brittany all made their first appearance in the second scene. We just finished Cheerios practice and Quinn went to go find Puck to tell him some big news. Brittany and I had little small moments, little hugs and conversations. Throughout the script, our relationship deepens. It started off as a hook up until Santana realizes she has feelings for Britt. "That's all for today!" Kevin's voice yelled after the read through was finished. I grabbed my backpack from my chair and tapped on Toni's shoulder. She looked at me, "so, what'd you think about rehearsal?" I grinned. "Wonderful. I can't wait to start our scenes."
A/N: Sorry this chapter is bad, I got a really big ela project this week so I've been working on that. Once I'm done with school(so in 2-3 weeks) I promise the chapters will be better.
