Jaz's POV

"So are we just going to hang out around the apartment today?" I ask, raising an eyebrow. I'm seated cross legged on the couch, the warm blanket covering most of my body. Thinking about it, I hadn't remembered falling asleep with a blanket on me.

Livvy had only just left for our apartment so that she could go back and get ready for her lecture. We said we'd meet her for dinner at Nando's at eight, later tonight. Serena and I were seated on our couches, and Louis, Liam and Harry were standing around us.

Harry smiles. "No, of course not. That's way too boring."

"But," Serena says, "You guys are famous. We can't exactly go out in public without being hoarded by fans."

"True," Liam nods. "Harry you have that look on your face. What are you thinking?"

Harry looks down at his hands, still grinning. "Oh, I don't know..."

Louis hovers over his and ruffles his hair. "Out with it, Curly."

I laugh at the nickname.

"What if we went to an amusement park?" He says, finally looking up.

I shrug, nodding. I've always loved amusment parks- especially going with my friends. In movies everyone always seems to have a good time at those things. Serena smiles and nods approvingly too, but Louis and Liam look weary.

"Harry, you don't go on any of the scary rides there," Liam shakes his head. "And there would still be fans there."

"I'm willing to have a go on it..." Harry says, biting his lip. "And there is at least one fan everywhere we can go. If we wear our beanies and glasses, and Louis avoids his stripes," he shoots Louis a look and Louis gives a sheepish smile. "I think we should be alright."

"I'm all for it," I say. "I'll bring a baseball bat if I need to pry fans off you." It's funny saying things like this, because I would have once been the fan jumping on them, asking for an autograph. Yet here I was now, hanging out with them, and discussing fans like me.

A few chuckles go throughout the room and Louis shrugs. "Can't be that bad."

"I think it'd be fun," Serena smiles.

We all turn to Liam, who looks to be deep in thought- in the middle of a debate with himself. He's frowning, staring up at the ceiling, and we all wait for him. His gaze drifts back to us and he sighs. "Let's do it."

A round of cheers goes around and I can't wipe the smile off my face. I was going to an amusement park with one direction.

***

We'd all piled into one of the hire cars that the building the boys lived in kept down in storage, and the boys had driven us back to our house so that Serena and I could freshen up. I had a quick shower when we got there, making extra care to lock the door, while the boys waited in the living room and Serena used the other shower. I'd told the boys to help themself to anything in the cupboard, not too worried that they'd clear us out because Niall wasn't here.

I switched off the shower taps, waddled into my walk in wardrobe with my towel wrapped around me, and picked out a pair of faded, black skinny jeans, a white singlet and my favourite, blue blazer. I decided to just wear ballet flats on my feet, as we'd probably be walking around all day, and quickly shrugged into my clothes. I blow dried my hair a bit, stuck it up in a high pony tail, and walked out to meet the boys, phone, purse and house keys in my back pocket.

When I got out there, I wasn't suprised so see the three of them singing a song about making toast as they were waiting for the toaster to pop.

"We put the bread in the toaster!" Louis sings in a deep voice.

"And let it cook for a little while!" Liam joins.

"And we wait and wait and wait!" Harry sings.

"Right..." I say, brushing my hands on my jeans nervously, and walk over to them in the kitchen. "You guys okay?"

They turn to look at me and grin. "We're making toast!" Louis shouts.

I press a hand to my ear, and turn at the sound of footsteps behind me. Serena was just walking out of the hallway, dressed in a cute woolen jumper and jeans, shoving her phone back into her pocket. "Alright," she says, looking at Louis and smiling. "We ready to go?"

"I am,"  I say, looking at them. "Do you guys mind leaving your toast?"

Louis dramatically presses his hand to his forehead and gasps. "How could you suggest such a thing?"

Harry slings his arm around his shoulder and goes along with the act. "It's okay, Lou," he fake cries. "It's time."

Serena rolls her eyes with a laugh, and goes up to Louis, patting him on the cheek. "Mrs Toast will be okay, Louis."

Louis slings his arm over Serena's shoulders with a grin and steers her towards the door. "Let's go on some scary rides so Harry shits himself!"

"Whoop!" Liam cheers, and I laugh, following after them. I hear Harry whimper a bit and turn back, shaking my head at him.

Louis, Harry and Serena walk off ahead, descending down the stairs of our building, while I trail behid with Liam. "So," I say. "How are things with you and Liv?"

"Liv?" He seems caught off guard, and starts stuttering. "Uh, I-I-"

"It's okay, she likes you too," I say with a grin.

"She does?" He clears his throat. "I mean, of course she does I'm Liam Payne..."

"Do you like her too?"

He looks down and pretends to be focusing on watching his feet plod down the stairs and sighs. "Yes..."

"Then go for it." I say, giving him a pat on the back, just as Harry falls back and into stepwith us. "How's it going Harry?"

"Louis keeps teasing me," he groans and folds his arms. "It's not nice."

"Man up, mate," Liam says, laughing. "And Jaz? What you said before?" I look up at him and wait for him to speak. "The same thing goes for you." Before I can say anything in reply, he skips off ahead, leaping onto Louis back, causing Louis to lose his balance and stumble a bit.

"What did you say before?" Harry asks, looking at me curiously.

"I don't know..." I mutter with a shrug. "But today is the day you man up and come on a scary ride with me." I say with a grin, glad for the subject change.

"Great..." he says with a sigh.
