Blood dripped from the remains of Uranus. The sea stayed calm, ignoring the blood for only a short while.

Eventually, the blood bubbled into sea foam. It bubbled more and more ferociously by the minute, but suddenly, it came to a stop.

The sea stayed calm, as calm and still as it possibly could, until a beautiful goddess slowly stepped out.

It might seem like the forming took only a couple days, but this lasted centuries.

Aphrodite POV

I stepped out from the waters. The weather was warm. There was alight breeze that perfectly the warmth.

I took a look at my surroundings. I was stepping on soft, yellow sand. There were trees all along the island and water surrounding it. The waters I had previously rose from.

"Oh my!" I heard a high pitched voice. "She is quite stunning, isn't she?" A different high pitched voice said. "Who are you?" I called out.

I saw 4 figures standing in the shadows of the tall trees. They all stepped out and curtsied. "We are the seasons." They said.

"What do they call you?" One asked.

What did they call me. I truly did not know anything of me.

"I, I do not know." I said. They lightly grabbed my arms and guided me towards the forest. "Well then, we must give you a name." They said.

"Hmm, what to call you?" One thought. "Aphrodite!" She said. "Since she has risen from the sea foam!" The other seasons nodded in agreement. "And what do you think?" They asked me.

"I love it." I smiled brightly. I was now Aphrodite. "We must take you to Mt. Olympus, for only a goddess could possess such beauty." They said.

Beauty? Was I considered the image of beautiful? I had not seen myself, nor anyone else to know the standards of beauty.

"Mt. Olympus?" I asked.

"Home of the gods and goddesses. It is where they shall give you your godly title." One answered.

They guided me up towards Mt. Olympus. There was a large gate in front. I could hear the chatter amoungst them from outside.

From what the season had said, I'd assume I would be average to the gods. I wouldn't receive to much attention..
But I was oh so wrong.

The door opened and I walked towards the center of the room. I gazed in awe at the sight of it. I looked at the Gods and goddesses occupying the room to see I was not  only one staring.

Every eye fell upon me. I felt nervous from the stares I was receiving, but I tried to not let anyone notice.

The men's eyes lingered on my body and the goddesses gave me glares.

There was no sound at all. It was dead silent. Until another god stumbled in. "My lord, I have received word that-" his eyes met mine.

Was I really this breath taking?

"Hello." I spoke. "I am Aphrodite." I gained some confidence.

"Well, Aphrodite, it be my honor to have your hand in marriage." A god said. He had tan skin and blue eyes, along with blonde hair.

"Nonsense!" A man with brown hair and a trident spoke. "It would be my honor."

"No," a handsome man with black hair said. His demeanor seemed more violent than the other gods. "It would be my honor, Aphrodite." He took my hand, making me blush slightly.

But then the arguing started. I had no idea what to do as the gods fought over me.

I looked over at the goddesses, who were rolling their eyes at the men's behavior.

"Silence!" A goddess yelled. Everyone stopped arguing.

"As the goddess of marriage, I should be the one who decides who will take Aphrodite's hand in marriage." They said. I felt uneasy with being assigned a husband, but I could see why it needed to be done.

"My son , Hephaestus. God of fire and Forges" She declared and pointed. I looked to see whom she was pointing too. It was a god, who was not handsome like the other gods.

"What?" The gods all said in union, including Hephaestus himself.

"Yes and you shall be married today." The goddess said. The men all grunted.
