I woke up to find Hermes had gone. I wasn't stressed over about though, I was just happy to spend a night with someone.

It was nice, not being so lonely.

I had cheated on my husband. I felt guilty at first, but it was already done and I couldn't change that. Now I felt as though a door had been opened.

I wouldn't feel guilty and I could sleep with as many guys as I pleased. I already knew they wouldn't reject me. They'd have to be insane. Of course I have to act like I'm clueless to the fact their drooling.

In walked outside to bathe. I washed my self in the river and went back inside the house. I dried myself off and sat on the chair, reading my book.

"Aphrodite, I'm back." I heard Hephaestus answer. "Hello." I said.

"I made you something." He said. I stood up and walked towards him. "You did not need to do that." I said. It was bad enough I wasn't faithful, but now he is giving me presents.

"I felt it necessary, due to being away so often." He said, then handed me a necklace. It was gold with a tiny red stone as a charm. "You shouldn't have." I said, taking the necklace in my hands.

Everything I told myself not to do, vanished once I saw the necklace. It was so beautiful. I couldn't deny it.

"Its lovely. Thank you." I said before putting it on.

I sat back down and continued to read my book.

The next morning, I woke to the sound of metal clashing. I left my bed to find Hephaestus gathering his things. "I'm afraid I must leave again." He told me.

"Why?" I asked curiously. "The War God, Ares, has returned in need of some new requirements." He said. Inside I was smiling. I have not really met Ares, and I was curious too. On the outside I was faking a frown for my husband's departure.

"You do not think highly of your brother, do you?" I asked. "Not particularly. He is a bloodthirsty menace. Always causing problems." My husband said. I simply nodded. Information like that was need if I were to see him.

"How long?" I asked. "A week or two. Other things need handled as well." He said, then walked out the door, leaving his wife smiling.
