A/N: Here's a new part! A big thank you for being so patient with me and this story. I just wanted to make it clear so that no one will be confused; I won't always be using real results, it just depends on how it fits into the story. Also, please let me know what you think about this part, I feel like it could seem a little boring, but yeah anyway.. Enjoy! 💜

The first two weeks without the boys dragged awfully for Maja. She found herself waiting impatiently from one weekend to another, so that she could watch the competitions. The girl had become so committed to watching ski jumping she even managed to swap her shifts at work so that she had the weekends free for the next few upcoming weeks.

Every weekend, her and Lena would get together and watch the competitions, cheering on their favourites. While on Fridays Maja still had work and she wasn't able to watch the competitions in the comfort of her home, she always stole the remote for the TV located inside the café and she switched to the channel which the competition was on. No one complained.

Despite the boy's tight schedules, Maja still got an opportunity to facetime them every couple of days. She mostly talked to Stephan and Andreas, since they were the ones who found the time to give her a call, even if it was late at night and lasted just a few minutes. She often exchanged texts with Richi, but only once had she got the chance to call him so far. The girl understood though, they were working incredibly hard and she was extremely proud of them and their results.

The girls were currently sat on Maja's sofa, with a glass of wine in their hands on a Sunday evening. They nervously waited for the last five jumpers to finish off the competition. After the first round, Andreas was in the lead, with Markus in the second place and Richi in the 4th. It was a great weekend for the Germans, on Friday Markus won the qualifications and the next day, Richard won the first individual competition. Now, the girls would have loved to see all three of them on the podium.

"Here we go!" Maja spoke excitedly, yet nervously. It was finally Richi's turn to jump. She placed the wine glass down on the coffee table in front of her to make sure the liquid wouldn't end up all over the floor after her reaction, whether it would be a positive or a negative one.

She squeezed her thumbs tightly in her hands. She always wondered why people did this for good luck, as if it would actually have any impact on the jump, but she did it anyway hoping for the best. Lena on the inside wanted her man on the podium this time, but she of course still had her hopes up for Richi and wished for him to have a safe and good jump.

Maja observed her crush's jump. She didn't realise she was holding her breath while he jumped, only to let out a loud squeal when he landed perfectly at a good distance, which would allow him to take the lead over Stefan Kraft. Lena clapped beside the younger girl, expressing her happiness.

Both of the girls went through the same process when it was soon Markus' turn to jump. He jumped well, but they were unsure it was enough to keep him on the 3rd place on the podium, especially how Andreas was the last one to jump.

Maja felt her palms begin to sweat and she inattentively shifted closer to the edge of the sofa, wiping her palms on her jeans. Lena looked at her curiously, her eyebrow raised. She watched most of the competitions this season with Maja and she already noticed how the girl seemed to be more nervous about Wellinger's jumps than any of the other guy's jumps, even Richi's.

Lena kept her eye on the younger girl, watching as she struggled to contain her emotions. She snapped out of her little investigation when Maja smacked her hands together cheerfully, a huge grin spreading on her lips.
