"So what did my dad want?" Awsten asked, him and Geoff were sitting in Awstens room on the carpeted floor, playing Cards Against Humanity, not laying in bed cuddling because Awstens family was now home, but they let Geoff spend the night.

"He wanted to know if we were dating. I told him we weren't, and we went on a date, and he said he liked me cause I stayed with you in the hospital the whole day. He said that your last boyfriend wouldn't have done that. Then you walked in and he got up and left." Awsten cringed at the phrase 'last boyfriend.'

Geoff noticed, and gave Awsten a sympathetic look. "What happened with your last boyfriend?" He asked, and Awsten just shook his head. "Nothing important." He said.

Geoff rolled his eyes. "Something happened, I can tell. I'm not gonna force it out of you, but I'm here if you ever want to talk about it. About anything for that matter." Awsten nodded, and got up and pulled something out of his desk drawer.

He sat back down and crossed his legs, and Geoff noticed that Awsten was holding Polaroid pictures.

"This was him. I don't know why I still keep these, the guy was a complete douchebag, but I guess it shows me that I got through it." He said.

Geoff looked through the photos, some were of Awsten and the guy, some were just of the ex. Most of the pictures were of the guy shirtless, and he was either showing off his muscles or had his arm wrapped around Awstens neck and was almost choking him.

He flipped through the photos quickly until he came across the last photo in the short stack of pictures. A mug shot.

"Why'd he get arrested?" Geoff asked, holding up the photo. "He hurt me. He cheated on me. He said he loved me, and I loved him. He cheated on me with this girl named Ciara (sorry), and I walked in on it. I walked into my bedroom, to see him on top of her, and then when I asked what the fuck was going on, he got off of her, walked straight up to me, and hit me. He pinned me against the wall and kicked me. Told me if I tell anybody that he cheated on me that he'd make my life a living hell. After I was on the ground crying, he just went back to having sex in my bed."

By the time Awsten finished, he was a bit teary eyed. Geoff got up and sat next to Awsten, hugging him. By that time Awsten was full on bawling his eyes out into Geoff's shirt but he didn't mind. They were like that for a good two minutes before Gracie came in the room.

"Awsten, dinners rea- oh, I didn't know you had guests." Awsten lifted his head off of Geoff's shoulder. "It's fine, uh what's for dinner?" He asked, wiping the tears off of his face.

"Tacos," She said and closed the door.

"Wanna go eat tacos?" Geoff asked and Awsten nodded his head.
